The bad luck for Abhinav Mukund is that even after going out of CSK due to zero chances, he is still warming the benches and carrying drinks for the other side that picked him in the auction (RCB). Also with Cheteshwar Pujara in the same RCB side, these two guys will rarely get games. These guys are excellent players who can have their game improve for the better by playing the fast paced IPL (right now, their game is more suited for the test mould).

Feel very bad for him! Hope he gets his chances soon and hope he makes the most of it.

That was a touch and go mate.Even Virat was gone for all money yesterday but he played and went on to score a 50,so it happens.Cant really complain.

Rp singh was really terrible yesterday dropped the catch and here and there two no balls and very bad last over that he couldn't defend 16 runs. Also what a bad tactics from rcb to send rampaul ahead of arun karthik. we should have got some thing around 170+ but not to be

Mumbai Indians is looking like the most settled side among all so far... Rohit has started hitting the form, Rayudu is even not getting to bat much... Karthik and Pollard doing the maximum damage. Moreover, Sachya was rocking yesterday like the old Sachin, was confidently hitting Pune bowlers. :cheers

Poor Dinda had the forgettable spell of the life --- 4-0-63-0

Moreover, our leader of bowling attack was Malinga before start of the tournament but now its Mitchell Johnson suddenly, with his good variations and yorkers :clap:clap:clap

Would like to see Rishi Dhawan more in coming matches :thumbs

To me Rohit and Karthik deserve the credit for the good show by MI in batting. Pollard has been chipped in here and there but its Karthik-Sharma duo that have got most runs for the team.

Akash Chopra was correct indeed. Rishi Dhawan does look like an exciting prospect. Shame that the selectors don't give much importance to the players for the plate group. Hopefully, Dhawan will not be ignored as the best of plate division players, Dheeraj Jadhav and Abu Nechim Ahmad.

Mumbai's bowling is not as good as their batting is i fear. They rely too much on Lasith.Munaf has never been a threat and Bhajji is one of the worst player at this point of time.So their batsman need to pile up plenty, atleast 160+ every game to win it.I dare to say that MI cant really defend totals like 100-120.Maybe 1 or 2 rare cases when the opposition is a weaker team like Pune or the relatively inexperienced Rajasthan and Punjab, but not really against someone like Chennai,Bengaluru or Delhi.

I don't understand why is every match Morgan is played so low. If he comes up in place of Kallis, he is very likely he will score a ton.

What a dramatic end that was when both the teams were celebrating on the last ball in the thought that "we have won the match". :p

Virat Kohli's expression said it all :D But he did misfield couple of times, those few runs also costed them apart from terrible over from RP Singh :facepalm

Overall, class battle again by both RCB-CSK, audience won the match actually... SIR Ravindra Jadeja got something to prove but felt sorry for ABD, my current favourite player :(

Because if Kallis doesn't open or come in at 3, he basically becomes useless.

Rahane was too slow yesterday at least he should have tried to finish the match little bit early and have improved their net run rate which is so important at the end of the tournament

Ajinkya looked totally put of form from the start and yesterday he wanted to play some balls in the middle i guess. Not impressed with him.He is playing a test like a T20(just 1/2 games, too early to decide though) and he is playing IPL6 like a test match.

You guys would have blamed RAHANE more than this, if RR would have lost the game yesterday. It happens in hurry when a team try to chase the target. Pitch was bowler-friendly, you could see wickets of Dravid and Hodge. PK utilized the pitch very best :clap

But no one is blaming here on Watto or Hodge? Dare you? They should have shown some patience instead of giving up wickets... :facepalm

Rahane is truly great player, big inning is on the cards very soon. :thumbs

Hat's off Gilly, even though scoring such low target, he managed to pull the match till last over !

Jaddu Sir got the crucial wicket of Finch, who was exploding and hurting us. AND THERE GOES UTHAPPA TOO, by Morris!!!! Uthappa's slow innings kept CSK in the game even when Finch was blasting it.
