There are a lot more players involved in it i heard but 100% evidance is not yet got.More arrests likely. And i think RP Singh should be under the radar, that no ball in the last delivery at Chepauk still haunts me of fixing charges.Lets see.Now IPL has got its spark.Lets wait and watch for more drama.

Yes, hopefully the police can make these guys shell out more names!!
I mean seriously, I liked Sreesanth's bowling, his aggression, he was one who could at any point make a come-back in the national side!! These situation hurt as a cricket admirer. :(

Hopefully strict actions are taken against them.

Leave alone a ban or fine,i want these players to be jailed for years together with no proper food and they should be starved to death. And yes if many players are arrested i would seriously think IPL 2014 is very unlikely to happen which actually is good for the future of international cricket.

I may support RR,i love Watson but he cant bowl for Aussies but can bowl for RR?Well that really hurts me a lot.A lot!!!If Watson would have bowled in the Ind Vs Aus test series,i can assure you that Aussies wouldnt have lost so badly. He is not an easy customer to get away with.

Certainly there should be more attention to International crcicket.
Treatments against them wouldn't be too harsh though.
And this will not affect the future iterations of the league!!

RR was Lalit Modi's connected team when he was in the scheme of things. Now Modi is gone under hiding. Now is Modi doing some of these fixings from behind?

I too have a slight doubt on this guy.

Criminal mumbai's their crowd as well as players really terrible peace of behaving from pollard their . and also really bad umpiring to give dravid out :facepalm

The problem is that actions against such crimes are not severe enough. Ban these 3 from all future IPL, international and domestic matches. That'd send a message to others to not take things lightly. I really wish there's some harsh action taken against them.

And, I'd continue to love IPL, something that has never happened before, and something so big that such ill-minded players cannot pull it back.

Agreed. Infact 3 of those 6 players found guilty last year have completed their 1 year ban!!
Pity that the ban wasn't enough, these newbies think money is evetything. BCCI shoupd.set an example taking today's case. Punish them hard . How could they even cheat a game which earns.them their livnn. :( Gutted.:mad

Who cares if Chennai get number 1 spot or not? Even if they stay at 2nd spot, they still will get in the CLT20 and also another chance if they lose first semi-final to MI.

Unlike Sai, I do! Finishing 1st is just so much better than finishing 2nd, but ofc, if it came down to us winning the title or finishing 1st, I'll take winning the title. ;)

Bowling 15 overs an inning = bowling 4 overs in 2 days. Maddy logic. :rolleyes

As far as the whole arrest/detainment goes, looking at you guys jump the gun on these players is more saddening to me than the fixing itself, remember, one is innocent until he's proven guilty and these players should only be treated as such.

It is this very bunch of ppl who spoil the reputation of Indian cricket, IPL in particular. No, we neither stand by nor endorse these values. They just are too greedy, wanting to make quick money. A bad day for cricket in India.
A news report states the bookies having connections over Ahmedabad, Karachi to Dubai. It's a huge, huge scandal this. One of the arrested bookies is supposedly Sreesanth's cousin. Such a disgrace!

Police did confirm that they were being traced for a long time. Moreover as Sahil said-

And they've also mentioned that some foreign cricketers are on the radar!!
I'd love to see a severe punishment this time atleast. They're spoiling their lives. And quite surely, they'll be found guilty, but I suspect, with less charges, and that is the issue as to how they'll escape out of it!

I cant digest the fact that Sharad Pawar and Narayanasami Srinivasan are telling "Zero Tolerance to Corruption"!Crap!

But now, you wonder what good cricket is all about. Is good cricket about making as much money as possible? Is good cricket about winning? Is good cricket ?fixing? things well? Is good cricket not getting caught while doing something wrong? Is good cricket about losing in the right way? :(

Just disgraceful and black day for Indian Cricket :facepalm

Sreesanth was one of the favourites in my list so far. I hate hi mfrom bottom of my heart now and hope he will not ver play a cricket now onwards, not even gully cricket.

Ankeet Chawan looks like a simple guy, not expected from him. He was one of the stalwarts in Mumbai's Ranji win. There was no need to have greed for too much money. No words for that ****** Ajit Chandila. I never encouraged his bowling.

And here I thought Sreesanth was coming back into his rhythm. And Sreesanth's dad blaming Dhoni and Harbhajan for this ---- is just so beyond me.

And, Sree's brother claiming that he was trapped in it. But then, which 30 year old (I've no idea whatsoever about his age & too lazy right now for cricinfo) person gets cheated or whatever? I mean, common he's made a mistake, a crime I'd say, and accept that.

Supposedly the KXIPvsRR & MIvsRR matches were spot fixed. I think the Chavan thing comes up when he bowled poorly at the start letting Maxwell to cut loose with 2 sixes off his over. Just speculations, but that's what I feel about Chavan. Can't recollect more instances.
