MI and DD should know that the time of their stars is up.

As for MI, they have totally lost it. They are getting in Ponting to captain their squad. This means that 3 overseas spots are filled. The one remaining spot will see a lot of people battling for it. Not a great decision though.

Out of 5 seasons, Sehwag has been the top scorer for DD in 3 seasons and once the second highest scorer. Time up? Certainly not.

Sure

Fresh auctions look unlikely. Srinivasan won't approve it as he does not wish to lose out on Dhoni at any cost. Similar is the case with MI (for Sachin), DD (for Sehwag) and RCB (for Virat).

The mega auction will be held next year, because the contracts every players were handed this year were for just an year. Added to that, there would be a mega auction once in three years, of course, with detainment of players policy.

Tough to choose a favourite in IPL.I support all 9 teams headed by my Dravid's Royals and my hometown Chennai.Hoping to see a great IPL6 under Pepsi's brand.Good luck to all the teams.
Positives of IPL6:
RR-Nothing much to say but Rahul Dravid's presence will benifit the young blood.
CSK-Same team,same combination,nothing new.Less negatives.
RCB-Virat's form and his captaincy.
KKR-Lee will be the bowling mentor.
DD-Unmukt might get a lot of chances as sources claimed.Looking forward.
MI-Punter's captaincy.
PWI-Ross Taylor's presence and with due respect absence of Dada.I love Dada but he was a spoilt sport last year for the PWI.
KX1P-No positives.
