S.A look a completely different team so far in this ODI series they should be ashamed of themselves. On the other side England have looked the best I can ever remember in ODI's.

A lot of people in the media keep saying how badly the Saffies are playing, but England are playing such good cricket.

We are playing some very good cricket. I think this side is perfectly balanced. Imagine if Tres came back into the side! Wow, given his form of late, and his general excellent ability, we'd be even better. Though, as the commentators have said, India will be different. You'd want a 2nd spinner, surely? Swann has done nothing wrong, but it would mean dropping Wright/Anderson. I can't think of anyone else in the bottom of the order he could replace. Wright would be more likely, but then again, on flat Indian tracks, he'd be deadly in the last 10 overs.

Monty could learn a bit on how to bowl in OD cricket from Samit Patel. You can be a spinner and not have a wrong 'un to be successful in ODIs.

Fantastic for Patel that. I was delighted when he got called up and i'm even more delighted with his performance today. Plus, our Fredward was on top batting form again. Signs are positive for the India tour.

Yes, and at 7 we have a very good batsman. No4 for Notts in both formats iirc. Very good all-round cricketer.

I doubt SA want to go to Australia on the back of a 5-0 humping in the ODIs.

Series win against SA? Excellent. I do think KP could turn out to be one of our best captains. Who in here would love to play under a character like that? He's got such a positive attitude.

2 good all-round performances by Fred and Patel. It's nice being optimistic about England ODI cricket.

Oh England, a pleasure to watch. Lost for words at how well we are playing, and how we can make a good South African side look piss poor. Series is won, however England must keep focus, the Saffies are there for the taking and anything less than a 5-0 win should be disappointing.

ruthless is what we need too, KP has always had it but in the past few series we've had our chances and not taken them, even in Australia 5-0. We certainly had enough chances to make it not a whitewash. Last day batting. Ashley Giles dropping Ricky Ponting. Can't see it hapening under KP.

Good to see the Leicester lads with 2 5fers in 2 as well

I don't know this South African team. They are shadows of their former selves. I didn't even bother watching the game today - something I've never done. I fear many heads are going to roll. Say good bye to Ntini, Gibbs, Steyn (as an ODI player), and Boucher.
