South Africa in England

He's been taking 5 wicket halls all over the place this season. Him and Kabir Ali have been doing very well for Worcs. Although Worcsteshire are being careful over him so that he doesn't break down again but he may be on sky this week in the pro40.

omg. . this is immensely embarrassing by South Africa. looking like it will be big big defeat.

and just looking at monty. .and comparing with harris. .harris is all sh*t

Monty is in excellent form, South Africa will do well to get to 250. Harris looks like he won't survive the barrage of short balls for long. Just avoided an LBW appeal by Monty...looked close, was out. Out next ball though, caught Anderson. Monty is on for a five for.

Prince needs to stop taking singles of the 1st ball and exposing the tail enders.

He does, But he is putting his trust in them and to be fair Morkel can bat average of 18. He is putting trust in them they just arent showing it back.

don't understand the point of showing trust in tail enders. thats why they are tail enders because their own team doesn't trust them when it comes to batting. look at how Shiv, Hussey and Sangakkara work with the tail.

How long is Broads bad luck going to go on. Had about 5 edges now. 2 just short catches. a few played and missed. This is just to wind me up. He just needs to send down a few yorkers to Steyn.

I suppose thats why you trust a tail ender because he can get you some runs. To knock was that from Prince. Now it's to see wether or not we enforce the follow on which I can see that we probably will.

I don't really see the point of this. Why don't we just call it a day and come back fresh tomorrow with a new ball for the seamers, rather than give SA a start, by bowling the spinners?

Edit: It's raining now, anyway.

Ladies and gentleman England have 2 new opening bowlers :D These boys can't cope :D

They only made ten in the end, so no major damage done.

Re: Simon Jones/Flintoff, who would we drop to accommodate them?? This attack has to be one of the best in the world right now.

Hmmm. My prediction of England winning the series well that I made a couple of months ago doesn't look quite so ridiculous now does it? Looking at no one in particular of course...

Anyway i'm not gonna start gloating yet. If any team can lose a match with a first innings lead of 340 then it's England. Just remember Adelaide.

But still, come on England. Shut up all those doubters who thought we'd get steamrollered by the 'best pace attack of the century'. Lolz.

Is Simon Jones actually in contention for a return? If thats the case, and assuming he will be able to reproduce his old form, its great news for this team.

Seems like he was always going to enforce the follow-on, but he was also going to bowl first. It would take a lot to lose from here, but if South Africa have discovered some grunt, the batsmen might yet be able to repay day 1's favour against bowlers already 90 overs weary.
