If Cook was in form, maybe he would have got bat on it and you'd have the same result. Bad decision of course, seemed like he was convincing himself of the noise instead of considering the weight of doubt. All the same, umpires are damned if they do, damned if they don't. There's no right way in public opinion to turn down close or uncertain appeals, even though the benefit of doubt would be perfectly sensible.

After waiting a few seconds,Bowden would have gone for referral or should have given benefit of Doubt to Cook.
