South Africa in England

We are quite entitled to select an Englishman, thanks.

An impressive Nottinghamshire bowler who was intending on taking his children to the Alton Towers today but is instead playing his first Test for his country.

Another non-Englishmen in the England team :noway

Shocker from Bowden..Ball was no where near the bat and He raised a finger because of that Sound..
Damn,Unlucky for Cook and What else should I expect from Vaughn?

If Cook was in form, maybe he would have got bat on it and you'd have the same result. Bad decision of course, seemed like he was convincing himself of the noise instead of considering the weight of doubt. All the same, umpires are damned if they do, damned if they don't. There's no right way in public opinion to turn down close or uncertain appeals, even though the benefit of doubt would be perfectly sensible.

Eh, I always thought Kabir Ali was born in India and Sajid were born in Pakistan....

And thought Monty played domestic cricket in India :p

I guess I'm wrong

Oh, and Tom, yes I am racist, thank you very much for noticing.

EDIT: Kabir Ali did play domestic cricket in India for Rajasthan.

He might have done, but all of them were born here - I've just come back from Malta after a 2 week holiday, does that mean I'm Maltese now!?

I think its fair to say that my beloved Vaughan is only in this England team because he is captain. But then he is one hell of a captain.

All of those were born in England bar Saqlain.
Andrew Strauss, Kevin Pietersen, Geraint Jones, Matt Prior, Tim Ambrose, Owais Shah and Ed Joyce to name a few who weren't (not to make an argument, it's just amusing), but I was personally more concerned that England would pick a player who is yet to play an entire season of domestic cricket.

I'm sure the irony of that is lost on you.

Surprised they are still playing, quite consistent rain for a long time. KP and Strauss both look solid. KP had a close lbw from Steyn, hawkeye said it was hitting leg stump. If so, makes up for Cook being given out off his pad.
