Agree, Shami needs game time to get used to bowling long spells and I'm afraid don't get hamstring strains in SA.

With Herath out of the third test Sri Lanka get further depleted. Also Perera the ODI captain 7th captain for this year shows the inconsistency of the team. Sri Lanka better find some rhythm quickly or else they will be back being an associate side with others really stepping up.

I didn't follow the second Test but was Herath ineffective because Indian batsman played him very well or did the pitch play a factor in that?

Someone should just simulate this series apart from that couple of days in Kolkata Sl have been a sorry excuse for a side to play international cricket at the moment. A Ranji quarter final math between Mumbai and Karnataka will be more competitive this and would be really suprised if this changes in ODI series maybe they can do a lot better in the t20s. And this sums up their status in the ODI format .

The problem with Sri Lanka is only and only their leadership and management. Otherwise, they have been okay with their performances.

In ODIs, Upul Tharanga and Niroshan Dickwella have led the way in batting. Gunaratne was really good in every format both batting and bowling but was unlucky to be injured.

In Tests, Rangana Herath and Dimuth Karunaratne have been just fab with some help from Dickwella, Perera and Pradeep / Lakmal

Its just their constant captaincy changes and not showing faith in anyone is hurting them.

Not too worried but would have liked Rahane scoring good runs this innings. Only 1 inning left if at all Sri Lanka play well for him to score good

We can't actually tell that from TV because the camera lights and settings have been adjusted to give the best possible view but Air quality definitely is a major issue all across Delhi this year and that can be evident from the players wearing mask.

Absoulte farce in the last half an hour or so at the kotla first talk about whether to play or not then the bowlers going down and finally SL were short of the substitute fielder there were just 10 on the ground in perhaps the last over bowled by Sandakan, the physio and the fielding coach were seen wearing whites only to be decalre by the Indians to get the rid of one of the most bizzare scenes on the field at a cricket ground.
