Of course Fake Passport would align himself with town to prevent himself from getting lynched. If I didn't know who the Mafia were in a game my next targets would indeed be the third parties.
However, I don't buy the idea that Jack Ryder would add in another townie and potentially mess with the balance of the game which he so meticulously went to the effort of getting right before he started the game.

As for Villain, he has more or less remained impartial for the whole game and has shown eagerness to get discussion off the ground. I think he is leaning town for me at the moment. All this could well be a calculated effort to appear well-intentioned but I don't really have any reason to call it out as that.

Good to see you replacing inactive player. I believe, JR meant the entire game name as "replacement" mafia instead of "Star Wars" mafia as this game is undergoing lot of replacements.

I did have FOS on MrsPacman when this current day started(not because of inactivity) and let me find that post for you.

Yes, instead of ending this day - we should also need to get @zwarrior , @Varun and @Simon speaking and extend the timeline. If it is going to end without discussion by deadlines, it would make no logical sense for this day itself. At one point of time, I believe we have had only 4 people speak continuously blaming each other in last few days. 4 out of 10 people is too less activity to even get a read of this situation.

Lynch MrsPacman

Kinda personal read. She hasnt been around much, but she is fluent in mobile browsing with a largish screen. She also knows that in my championship game I went after a 0 poster who I suspected, based on reading everyone else to be mafia. In that game the town cut the 0 poster some slack as there mod rules meant replacement. Replacement ended up playing the res of the game being 'I cant catch up' and romped the mafia home.

Plus her language is really weird.

Not to throw wifey under the inactivity bus but she's had an early one. Don't expect her to to post for at least 12 hours.

@Fake Passport ^ just a personal question here. Did you already know that your misses were going to be inactive before posting this ^ It honestly look you were legitimately trying to get rid of her here.

At no point have I claimed to be just vanilla town, but my character description is a wookie helping to defend the base.

Power role then? Perhaps an investigative role. Nice job done thus far

Just to shed a bit more light, Surendar probably felt that backing a non-mafia/townie while everyone else is on their tail would give him a bit more validity.
He could sense that Rudolph was likely going to be lynched due to his behaviour and he was waiting for that moment to come where he could say "Look at me I supported a townie with his claim while you all didn't, I must be a townie!".
Backing a townie that everyone is pressurising is an excellent Mafia tactic, but his stated reasons for doing so are where it all falls apart IMO.

@El Loco ^ and a some posts before this. It seems that you are setting-up @surendar . Any reason in particular? My apology if I missed your reason given.

Occam's razor. Look at the game balance at the time, town were -2. How likely is he to go 'I know what I'll do, I'll put another anti-town character in'

@RUDOLPH - We kept this at arm's length as much as possible, as indicated by disclaimers mainly on her posts. About the only advantage I had is I knew usually when she had posted.

I knew she was pregnant and suffering morning sickness, and that she was concerned about activity to begin with, but that read at the time was genuine. I did find out subsequently that she was being harassed etc which was affecting her enjoyment here and explains the lack of interest a bit more.

I stand by the language read tho and although I stand by my read at the time but subsequently I reckon she was VT. Kinda confirmed by you asking about it IMO. (Assuming direct replacement?)

If it's a direct replacement I'm locking you town.

@Villain - It's not a ploy, if nothing else I've had to pull out of the championship semi which should kinda prove it.

My read on @Villain

• He got Rudolph's read(old role) right as "frustrated townie"
• He kept picking on Asprin for inactivity though there were other inactive members
• He has questioned the role change of FP and suspects him for being defensive

I am not sure how to interpret above last 2 points. If I put myself in that shoes where I get changes on my role in middle of the game without JR confirming it proactively like announcement, I will defend in same way because it would be hard to believe for others if you don't end up defending. I believe, FP's situation would have been better if JR included that like announcement before FP claiming it out. To keep picking on that point again and again, would not help the situation.

My declaration that CaptainCremer was town was based on the assumption that all the VTs are going to have generic names. I realize now that nearly all the characters may be generic, so that doesn't guarantee to me that CaptainCremer is town anymore. I still don't think he's overall been as scummy though. I'll have to reread the entire thread now, I'll post my thoughts in a while.

Dude, what is with you and CaptainCremer? Why is it, every post is referring CaptainCremer? You finally realized the point what I was trying to convey all this long on general character names.

These 2 matches, i.e. so Asprin was our town PR, Apsrin's reply and JR's description of night matches. Looks like, Asprin has played well & got defeated after a long battle. May be that is why, he was not contributing much as town PRs usually want to play safe most of the times.

I am going to look back on Asprin's post to see whether there is any clue based on his interactions. Going to park a bit aside on Varun's continuous attempt to link Captain Cremer in his posts & El Loco's desperation to lynch me.

But at the moment I have doubt on Mrs pacman. She was the first person to slip out the fact that there were multiple teams in battle mode at nights and then when I questioned how she came to know, she replied as typo.

Okay, what is your take on 3 teams involved in night roles/battle?

Does not detract from the argument for 3 'teams' or multiple Empire night roles.
