India practcied in the sun on the beaches of Jamaica ahead of their 2nd ODI against West Indies. Coach Greg Chapple decided to have a fun training session playing. They played through the whole day and even let a few young West Indian fans take part. Chapple said in an interview afterwards that he wasn't worried how the side was playing cricket. He thought they were all in good form and just wanted them to have a bit of fun before the 2nd ODI. He didn't let anything out about the selection for the 2nd ODI, but it is thought that he will bring in Tiwary to play his debut One Day International. With Gambhir, Tendulkar and Y Singh not being in great form, it is believed that one of them will miss out. West Indies just rested ahead of the game after practicing hard straight after the 1st ODI. With the weather looking good for the 2nd ODI the game should be a facinating incounter. Sky Sports will be there live, so be sure to join us...

2nd ODI - Jamaica, Sabina Park

Conditions are very good for this 2nd One Day International between West Indies and India. After a last ball victory for India in the 1st ODI, the West Indies will hope to take revenge and bring the series level. The pitch is a rather dubious one, with lots of cracks and some turn for the spinners. It is a pitch that should create lots of wickets and chances. If you win the toss, it's a must bat as it's only going to get worse. The cracks will open up and there will be rough created.

The Teams have a few changes from the 1st ODI. Sharma, H Singh and Y Singh have benn dropped from the team that won the 1st ODI. Instead, Tiwary will get his debut ODI game, Kumble in replace of H Singh and Chawla replaces Sharma.

The West Indies have made 1 change with Mohammed replacing Jeremy in the bowling department. Appart from that they are going with an unchanged side which hope to perform much better than they did in the 1st ODI.

Ganguly and Gambhir immediately set out to attack the bowlers. Bravo and Nurse opened up but only Nurse could find some rythym. Bravo was hit around the park by Ganguly who raced along at a run-a-ball. Nurse was able to keep the run rate down a bit and managed to bowl the only maiden of the 1st 10 overs.

After the 2nd powerplay was introduced at 10 overs, Gambhir decided to get a move on and try to smash Bravo and Nurse out of the attack. They did just that and Lara was forced to try and find some turn out of this pitch. He brought on his spinner Hinds, but Gambhir took this opportunity to hit out. He smashed two fours in his first over. Then Sarwan came on to bowl and the same result happened. In the 15th over Ganguly hit 2 fours in an over to reach his fifty. 62nd in his ODI career, and left the West Indies with a huge problem as they go into drinks.
