What are the main sources of revenue in battrick? I'm guessing that most of the top teams have expenditures, mainly due to salaries, that are over a million. How do they get the finances to stay afloat? Is it simply through gate receipts alone or do they also have to play the transfer market like Phil from phils hotspurs used to do?

My team will take the tag for biggest disappointments of the PC comp. Really struggling with PFL.

The usual way to make money is gate receipts plus the odd sale. With the state of the TM its hard to play the sell for a profit game.

Cause you are a new player, you get 50k a week for 7 weeks.

I'd try to do everything in my power to convince you to stay, but I wont, I'll just say this. When I started, I was the same level as you and played in this same competition, except it ran over many seasons and I probably lost heavily 9/10 times, but I didn't pull out.

I'm trying to whip up a batting index and a bowling index value to compare players who are similar in skills and try and decide who are better.


The current formulas I'm using are:

Batting Index - (0.5*Batting)+(0.1*Stamina)+(0.22*Concentration)+(0.18*Experience)
Bowling Index - (0.41*Bowling)+(0.21*Stamina)+(0.21*Consistency)+(0.16*Experience)

Tables fixed and updated according to yesterday, new fixtures are up too.

Please take note that the top two from each group will be going into a knock-out for the title, whilst the bottom two will be going into a 'losers knock-out', so don't worry if you aren't in the top two, you'll still have at least one more match coming up.
