Q&A #19 highlights

* ME issues
The ME is not going to plan and indirect influences are blamed.
They have observed bowlers doing worse at FC, while batsmen are not as good at OD. Fixes for this to come in next season.

* New friendly system next season
The new system will make it easier to plan ahead. Friendlies will cease making PFL hits and may also ignore PFL for in-game performance. FC friendlies will be possible (time permitting) and structured friendly cups are on the cards in the future.

* Advanced match orders
Still coming along and could include the suggested ability to set 'new ball bowlers' separate from priorities. Fielding positions are part of future plans, but not possible in immediate future.

* Hints
- PFL effects are not linear
- Experience has no effect on batsmen rotating strike
- 'strike controllers' do consider the ability of the other batsman (other players do not)

* Groundsman changes on track for next season

* Possible stat page tweaks

* Hall of Fame next season

* Morale system is being looked at

* TM Monsters still a big issue

Good to hear on the friendly front, should make the PC Cup alot more interesting.
Didn't know about the ME sucking for batsmen in OD, I will use that as the excuse for my crap batting displays I know the Mod in my league is annoyed with it.

As for the TM monsters, what is that about? Not being able to afford them, going to cheap or too many of them on the TM.

One of the problems with monsters is that the drawback of a huge wage devalues them on the TM, but it leaves newbies to make the mistake of thinking they are getting a bargain and bankrupting themselves out of the game. And often the manager who set that creature upon the earth also did so at the expense of their team. It's basically just a big logic flaw in the game. People are playing the game badly, but so many of them are doing it that something needs to be fixed.

Age is 27/28. Sort of indifferent.

Daymn. Just got about 1.3 mill on me. Oh well, no rush. Will wait till the end of the season and buy someone, working fine with 4 bowlers and 1 Med/Med/Med ATM.

A great FC season, winning every game easily while playing alright in OD, winning 7 games, with 3 bot teams.

Bittner topped the FC run scoring charts with 1871 runs @ 374.2. Clist was the next highest with 713 runs @ 118.83. Baliram then scored 618 runs @ 103. Fieldhouse took the most wickets with 52 wickets @ 6.46, 4 5wi, best of 6/5. Gilroy had the best bowling average with 43 wickets @ 3.77, but not one 5 wicket haul, lol.

Other bowlers were Clayden (29 wickets @ 10.62), Deane (25 wickets @ 6.36) and Iftikhar (25 wickets @ 8.52)

Bittner was our best batsman in OD with 628 runs @ 69.78. Clist was again next best with 351 runs @ 39. Gilroy and Fieldhouse were our 2 best bowlers with 22 wickets @ 21.05 and 21 wickets @ 21.48 respectively.


Gilroy has had an excellent career at the club.

78 career OD games, 354 runs @ 11.8, HS of 106. 1 century, 154 wickets @ 11.26, SR of 19.07, ER of 3.6, Best 8-8, 7 5wi

54 career BT20 games, 108 runs @ 9, HS of 18, 91 wickets @ 13.27, SR of 11.8, ER of 6.82, Best 5-5, 5 5wi

44 career FC games, 1002 runs @ 27.83, HS of 208, 3 centuries, 1 fifty, 225 wickets @ 8.37, SR of 27.01, ER of 1.88, Best 7-1, 21 5wi

He has only played one FC innings this season in one game and scored 208. He has a FC ER this season of 0.88.

finally a bit of run good on battrick

fixtures that were drawn up yesterday have been affected by a bug and are incorrect. The fixtures will be redrawn as soon as possible and this post will be updated when the correct fixtures are up.

Once the bug is fixed all human managed teams will have a Round 1 match and there will be no byes at all. Any friendly matches that are arranged in the meantime will be cancelled.

lol, everybody in my BT20 division are bots except for one who is a newbie. Will win every game in that with ease to promote again. Gives me a chance to play my 2 17 yo's and get them some experience.

Bleh, got all Humans in my BT20.

Luckily there are 5 bots in my OD league.

Roff dominating against bots. 6 wickets @ 1 in 2 T20's. Hasn't played a OD or FC match though.

Prinsloo has also got off to a nice start to his BT20 career with 92 runs in 2 matches and is still yet to get out.
