Dorey had a shocker, I hope its was just a case of nerves. Can't believe Katich got in over Jaques.
Jayasuriya loves the SCG as do SL who yet again make 300+ on the ground. Aus will need a miracle which isn't likely given the 2 most aggressive guys in Gilly and Jaques aren't playing.

Martyn and Kaitch is a shocking combo. Both aren't natural aggressive players. I feel Clarke or Symonds should be promoted to open with Katich as then you at least have one aggressive guy to go with Mr Anchor.

Cause he makes these lucky 50s so the selectors have to pick him.
Katich is fine when there is a Jaques or Gilly next to him but when its a Martyn then we have problems. I would like to see a Gilly and Jaques combo sometime this series.

Dorey is pathetic and don't see the reason why he was selected. Clark is alot more accurate but isn't really effective. The Aussie bowling attack looks very weak very weak without McGrath again and have gotta look at their bowling attack if they are going to win the WC. Perhaps Gillespie should be brought back in the team. Don't know why Hogg was supersub and not in the 11. Another stupid decision by the selectors.

Jayasuriya was simply brilliant. Well I said pre match that Jayasuriya loves the SCG and will make a big total. Many people were skeptical and felt that he could no longer score after his injury. I loved those sixes he hit and they way he smacked Hopes for a hopeless 19 runs in an over. This is Jayasuriya back at his best with those brilliant square cuts and flick of the pads.

Anyone hear Symonds swearing on the stump mic. Lol that was funny, "You F***** *******".

Hopes was hopeless today. I don't know why the selectors stick with him as his bowling isn't great. He definitely won't get a big amount of wickets. Get well fast Watson
A specialist spinner not being picked for the SCG is just plain stupid. What the hell are our selectors doing. Hogg isn't the best option against sub contient teams as he is easy pickings for them. Currently we don't have many spinners with much ING cup experience so the selectors may have to bite the bullet and try a few guys.
