Trans-Tasman Trophy (NZ in Australia), December 2011/12

FTR since Franklin made his test comeback in 2008 as a "batting all-rounder", he's averaged 20 with the bat and 126 with the ball!

Ah yes, but what do his IPL stats look like?

Does anyone know whether CA is doing a live stream of the tour match like they do with the sheffield shield games??

Ah yes, but outside India who actually gives a ???? about the IPL? :p

Test cricket's the true measure of how good a player is, hence Franklin's absolute crap imo. :yes

It's at a non test venue so nope although they probably wouldn't have done it at a test venue anyway.

Australia A: Ed Cowan, David Warner, Nic Maddinson, George Bailey (c), Steven Smith, Matthew Wade (wk), James Pattinson, Ben Cutting, Mitchell Starc, Ben Hilfenhaus, Michael Beer, Tom Cooper (12th)

Going by that side it seems to suggest the bowling will be looking into.

Supposed to kickoff half an hour ago if I'm correct. Weather forecast looks pretty bad for all 4 days, so not sure how much cricket will be played.

It's started now was delayed by 30 minutes. No wickets thus far to Pattinson and Hilfy, going by the weather it should suit the bowlers too.

Yeah raining boundaries so far :facepalm Couldn't find the scorecard on CA before, but looks to be the better of the two :thumbs

Looks like Pattinson has been the more likely to get a wicket but like Siddle he has been bowling a lot of 4 balls.

It was also weird how Cutting came on as 3rd change, only bowling one over in the shortened session. To say they can do better is a vast understatement.
