Warm-up matches

Afridi duck! :laugh :rtfl He needs to improve and find some consistent form if Pakistan want any sucess in the world cup

What happened to Aussie-Zim match?

I remember reading a article where Ponting said that he wud not be taking it easy against Zimbabwe & it wud be his team battling with full strength!

Kiwis got 220 don't know how many wickets the lost.

Would they have had a chance had our lower order not performed?

Of course you guys would have got 200 which would have been plenty.

The coverage and effort put into these warm up matches is poor. They do not even have a third umpire for the India Vs Netherlands match and there is no sign of coverage in the Aussie game.

Please update the pitch condition, is it slow and low lol ?

Yes,

Dhoni hits one into the crowd, he is the new Boom Boom. Steve Bucknor raised his hands for a six milliseconds after the ball was hit.

Kiwis were all out for 224. Oram was the top scorer with 88 where he just managed to score only one 4 from the whole innings  Great rescue act from McCullum and Oram.. Bangla did very well. It wud be nice if they manage to chase as well.

220 seems to be a par score on these slow low pitches. PS: Did Oram amputate his finger then?

Poor batting in the late overs and 5 wickets for Ten Doeschate has stopped India from getting a massive total but they should still win from here

Dont know manee.. I was just following through cricinfo that too lately. So no idea of Oram :)

Btw, India is in nice position to win this match and infact the highest score in warm up matches so far i guess. ;)

A small slip up by India but relative to the slip ups of South Africa, New Zealand, England and Pakistan it is not a massive problem.

288/9 with three balls to go...

Big six, and I eat my words.

300/9 and considering they were once looking at 320, the slip up was not major.

Yes first 300 on Windies pitch after long time if i remember right.. Even when we toured Carribean, we didnt have 300 score I guess. It seems to be a right sign for the start of a big tournament. All they need now is a dominating win in this match to enhance the confience further.. Com'on India, you can do it! :happy
