West Indies in England

Hmmm who said Monty was a big mistake :p Hes done it on dust heaps, flat tracks, green tracks, now we just need a damp track then its certain he can claim wickets anywhere anytime :D

WI looking shacky, no wonder, must be bloody freezing for them :p

draw really?

350 runs behind only 5 wicket left..with 7 sessions left?

wow is it gonna rain for 2 days?

Just like last season against Pakistan at Old Trafford, the pre match media build up suggested dropping Panesar but he's proved them wrong. He hasn't bowled anything extraordinary, just good old fashioned slow left arm bowling.

west indies are not doing well because it was always brain lara who got the team back in the game.

I've never seen Harmison bowl as bad as this before. Usually when he bowls poorly he still gets wickets but he hasn't looked like taking one today for love nor money.

wierd cos he's taken BUCKET loads this season..

i think the pitch is at its best right now..flat..slow..

Panesar takes 4 wickets, but other than that pretty shoddy. Harmison bowling utter crap and with Hoggard out we really look thin. James Anderson needs to be in there because of his accuracy and he can bowl full. Plunkett should be out based on what I have seen so far.

Good knock by Shiv :clap

I thought Plunkett at the end was bowling with good rythym, we need a good bowling coach in. Harmison should be told to bowl with his fingers going down the ball not to the side. On the upside he's halfway to being eligible as a US pilot

Yeah Botham, Holding and Bumble really summed up what the problem was towards the end of the day Sureshot. Plunkett bowled beautifully towards the end; Just begs the question why he couldn't have bowled like that all day.

i think monty will be VERY dangerous in the 4th innings

Other than that this pitch is too flat and slow....

Yes for the bowling coach spot, I heard Alan Donald being mentioned and I think that would be perfect. A quick bowler who knows how to bowl the ball accurately and most importantly, knows how to be one of the best.

Plunkett got the ball to swing a lot like Hoggard, and I think we deffinately miss Hoggy in the period when Plunkett and Harmison both weren't firing...

Gotta knock the last 3 wickets early tomorrow.
Score our runs quickly, try and set up the Windies with a chase of around 350-400 for the last day, and hope Monty does his magic.
