Ste is actually 100% right? Italy needed a draw against Uruguay regardless of a 1-1 draw or a 1-0 loss against Costa Rica. On the contrary, conceding a second against Costa Rica would have meant they needed a win against Uruguay. So yes, not conceding a second was far more crucial for the Italians than getting an equaliser, as the equation wouldn't have changed whatsoever in case of the latter.

Sort of expecting a nasty game with Italy & Uruguay. Won't be surprised if i see a plethora of yellow cards and red. But I hope i'm wrong.

Suarez needs to be banned from the rest of the World Cup at the very, very least. There's a huge difference between the bad, rash tackles that you see and intentionally assaulting a player during the game. In Rugby players have been mutilated because of biting; so anyone during it in Football should be punished harshly.

The funny thing is that the "anti-English" Scots haven't said anything about England since the Uruguay game and are just enjoying the world cup for what it is. I have much, much more respect of England fans than I do of people who treat international football like club football and seem to end up cheering for Italy, Germany and Brazil at the same time... Hey; I genuinely wish that they had beaten Uruguay now!!
