@BigAntStudios: Awesome work from everyone involved to have to listen to so many opinions and fix 80% of them is amazing.

This game really is turning out to be perfect after the patches of course.

@Ross.....sorry but another one of a thousand questions u get asked.

Is that stupid run out situation sorted out where you're batsman just played and missed a shot never advancing down the crease or playing a big shot but then get run out for not being in his crease. It's the most infuriating thing ever.

Please let me know if patch 2 fixed that.

You are super lucky. I've had it a few times in my career. To often for me. Kills me when I play so hard to get to a half century and that happens. I want to break my controller........

I normally save after every 6 overs. Just in case i get out to a bug...

That's like cheating for me. I never save. Otherwise u can just save a game and go out and then just load again and put really big scores up. Ah well after patch 2 I guess most stupid little things will be a thing of history

Yeah you 'could' save a game, go out, come back and post a big score but o_O whats the point...thats ridiculous, thats no fun. But until the runout issue is fixed i'll still be saving because im not gonna have my hard work undone by a bug.
Any other dismissal is fine...just not a bug

From memory there were 3. Two were still spooned catches to out fielders and one was an aggressive shot with the ball bouncing off the pad onto the stumps.

We're talking low number statistics here though, so I don't want to draw too many assumptions on just 3 dismissals.

What we really want though are:

1) Bowled and LBW wickets where the batsman is defending, not just playing a rash shot
2) Edges, from both aggressive and defensive shots

Have you seen any of those?

Key question that no one has answered clearly yet. All we know so far is a vague "AI batting is better"

To be honest I get both of those while playing normally. Admittedly I don't recall bowling someone who was defending (I don't count my career player who is a specialist at that...!) but I have gotten them LBW a few times when I got the ball to move off the pitch (very proud of those ones).

I've given and gotten edges from defensive shots too. As all edges should be its been with movement off the pitch. My most common one is with my leggie, pitching the ball on/around leg stump and spinning it back across the right handers. When they try to defend the line, if its pitched just right they end up on the wrong line and nick it behind (not to the slips though).

Stats update

Thanks ross for this brilliant cricket game im seriously addicted late nights never mind work and the wife! oh the wife has gone away for 4 weeks hooray!, just asking politely can there be a stats update during the game for instance in competition and tour mode during if a play 2 3 4 or 5 test serious the stats for the bowlers and batsman update only after the series is over not during the game or after each game I know u can go to the cricket academy and look there but it seems so much more realistic when the stats of the bowler and batsman are updated during in game, I know its not a bug but would really appreciate if u cant install if not for patch 2 but maybe patch 3 many thanks for all u and your colleagues hard work

This is 20 overs of a Test match played between the Thunder and the Sixers - thought it would be good to show a few things, such as the lack of the fatigue issue. This is being played on Pro difficulty, you can see in some of the previous videos I've posted of my Veteran career on Xbox, it's not like I'm bad at this game.

Fielding set to auto so you can see how the AI is reacting to things. I also kept the fields I was given. One noticeable remaining bug is being randomly switched between over and around the wicket, which stuffs me up a bit.

Unfortunately no edges, though I get close a few times.

Quality isn't that good - because I needed to compress it heavily to make it a manageable file size, YouTube also took forever to process - and as I type this, still hasn't got the 720p version up.

Anyway, enjoy -

My highest score is 35 as my career bowler on the Xbox - I pretty much play career exclusively. I want to be able to bat well, but it doesn't bother me if I can't - all I want in a cricket game is to bowl.

As mentioned, I need to give the game a long go at batting, and pace myself through a match.
