Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

Pujara you beauty...

1-1 after 3 matches ?

Haha jeepers wonder what else he's bored of then... cars, money, private jets, sledging steve smith, money, caviar, diamonds and bling, tattoo's, money, signing his autograph, pussy, errr money... basically anything he's got an abundance of and/or done repeatedly since he picked up a cricket bat, yeah he would be one bored fella.

If you're trying to ridicule him then it's a pity. As much as all of us Indians have hated on Steve Smith for the verbals and the DRS issue we haven't taken a personal jibe or not appreciated him when he bats well. Again, it's ironical you guys are so riled up with his 'sledging' since you guys are the creators and masters of this term and attitude. Again, whether it's the pitch or this forum, you guys can dish em out at will, but can't cop an inch.

Yo! Yo! Yo! Wtf are you on about...? I thought it was a dry funny joke you just did, only having a bit of banter mate.

For the record I don't like kohli because he is a knob, but I love watching him bat. Nothing more nothing less.

There is a lesson in this tour of India given by the Aussies. If you're given time to prepare and you approach the series with a fighting mentality, overseas trips can make for a lot of enjoyable and competitive cricket. Mind you, in India, winning tosses helps but the English won several but weren't as prepared as the Aussies and also didn't have the arsenal to take 20 poles.

For the FTP, each country should perhaps reduce the number of trips but increase prep time. It provides for some brilliant cricket. Who the hell wants to see whitewashes?

Love it how much they don't like Kohli when he sledges the Aussies. Last tour down under he was on fire both with the bat and Sledging but this around its only his Sledging that is in some sort of a form.

Then my bad for misunderstanding! :thumbs

Banter is good. I also think Smith is a tool, a fidgety one at that but I'm utterly bored of seeing him make runs against us. Is there a bowler in the world that troubles him?[DOUBLEPOST=1489827278][/DOUBLEPOST]

3 innings left. There's time yet. All depends on his fitness. I'd rather he fails this entire series for another series like that down under. The way he played there against a fast bowler of M Johnson's calibre was a sight to behold.

This kid Karun Nair has some weird X-Factor about him! I really like watching him bat.

Karma is a beautiful thing... Virat Kohli intentionally stepped out of the Indian dressing room to spitefully applaud Steve Smith’s missed DRS earlier today.. And Smith took a ripping catch to dismiss him..

Well after another match it will be India who will be on overseas tour starting from south Africa this november (tentative) and then Nz,England and Australia from Jan 2018 - Jan 2019.
The techniques,temparements... of batting lineup will be tested again. Not sure about how our hopeless bowler will perform in these tours because they are the key if we were to do any better in such conditions. A drawn series in any of these tour will be the best possible result for result or it will be another overseas series losses.

If India can get within 20-30 runs of the Aussie total, we would have put the pressure right back on them. No matter what you scored in the 1st innings, it will be tough to start against spin on a Day 4 track. However, if we concede a 50+ lead, we will be chasing this all along. We`ve been in situations like this before in this summer but have got out of jail because Ashwin, Saha and Jadeja (also Jayant) have bailed us out. It seems a tough ask for them to fire against this attack.

The lower-order has to contribute 70-odd put together to get us close to parity.

I dunno if I've seen any particular bowler trouble him, over in eng when we lost 3-0 he did seem to look more vulnerable against the seaming and swinging ball, and it also looked like eng had a plan to bowl not at off stump, but rather "where it would be" if not for his shuffle across the stumps, from what I remember he was knicked off regularly... Yeah smith looks like a deep sea racing turtle while batting, he just never stops fidgeting lol.

India missing the plot by this extremely defensive session of batting. If we lose wickets at the end of this, we would`ve gone nowhere.

Just as I said this, we lose Ashwin. Australia seriously ahead at the moment. With the position they are in right now, they can afford to keep attacking right through till stumps. India, with their defensive mindset have ensured that they will now concede a 100-run lead.
