Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

Well that is a pretty bold selection to bring Kuldeep in. Clearly India were holding on to him very tightly and have decided to unleash him in the final test match. Australia did struggle to pick Lakshan Sandakan in Sri Lanka and that might be a reason to bring him in? I am not sure but it is pretty bold to throw a 22 year old in a series decider like this. Hopefully he can do well. Bhuvi is in because of the grass on the pitch but I still feel pitch is dry underneath.

We are playing 5 bowlers which means more pressure on batsmen. In the last 18 months or so, Ashwin has been amazing for us with the ball but he has been equally amazing with the bat as well when other batsmen have failed at the top of the order. However, in this series, he has been very poor with the bat which is a worry because his runs at the end can be very useful for India especially in this match where we do have 5 bowlers.
From what Ive seen this pitch gonna be a minefield from Day 3 morning......might be unplayable. Good thing Australia are batting first.

Seen Kuldeep a bit on television but never live. I suspect the Indians are up to some mischief here, wont be surprised if he bends the arm.

Yeh have heard he might bowl some underarm stuff to confuse Australian batsmen.[DOUBLEPOST=1490415278][/DOUBLEPOST]That was a beauty from Umesh Yadav to get Renshaw. Now imagine if that catch had stick in Karun Nair's hand the very first ball, how much pressure would Australia have been under right now.

I've a feeling Warner is in for a big one here. His batting is a bit more suited for the bounce in Dharamsala.

He better be still think he shouldnt be playing test cricket but say what even the Aussies are struggling for talent

So which team you think have the talent in abundance across all formats AND uses it to great affect at the international level?

None at present has an abundance of talent. Its a dry patch for cricket. Opened a thread on the topic, feel fee to post on it we can discuss it there lets not get sidetrack here from the Aussies winning their first test series on Indian soil since 2004, you werent born yet.

You seem like you have watched a lot of cricket. I suppose you are 60? By the way, back in January 2004, I was trying for district level selections.

My age is none of your business but since you asked kindly, immortal I am ageless.

District level? Guess you never made it huh?

So no Kohli , Kuldeep and Bhuvi in for India.
Warner is all set for a big one today.

Guess you never made it anywhere either. At least he is`nt bitter about life, something which cannot be said of some other people.

I asked you since you were kind enough to assume that I wasn't even born in 2004.

You'd be glad to know that I did make it and in 2 months I got a call from the management person (Sailendra Solanki) asking me to participate in Ranji Trophy selections and MRF Pace Academy selections for fast bowlers but I let the opportunity go for my board exams and never tried playing professionally again.

I respect that.

Smith is smashing it all over the park. Poor bowling from the pacers wide outside off Smith says 'Thankyou very much'.

We are chasing this game already. If Australia score anything over 350, we will lose this game. We have looked flat so far, despite the early wicket. That dropped chance by Karun Nair is going to hurt us big here. Unlike other pitches this series, you will not get wickets in clusters here. Its a flat wicket. Unless we get some Jadeja magic, this series is gone for us.
