watson average as ever? take off the england googles evo mate :evertonfan said:I can't believe we are gifting wickets to this average bowler. I've seen better county bowlers yet England are gifting him wickets. I'll credit Watson with unsettling Flintoff though, apart from that, he's got two wickets from poor shots and has looked as average as ever.

i dont see how you can call watson average where he has broken into the best team in the world if not one of the greatest teamsof all time as a all-rounder in place of a batsman / bowlerevertonfan said:I'm not wearing any England goggles, Watson is average.

Watson certainly has improved in the past year. He's a versatile one day player but he still to me doesn't make the cut as a test player. His wickets today were his poorer deliveries and really you don't expect to take wickets from bad balls too often. One aspect where he needs to change is his body language, once he gets hammered around the park, he starts talking to himself and starts to act like a 12 year old, but when is taking wickets and bowling well like today, he is like a kid in a candystore. If he can rectify this aspect, I reckon he can be a much more useful cricketer.
