Here's my team selection for tomorrow;

Strauss
Flintoff (c)
Bell
Pietersen
Collingwood
Dalrymple
Yardy
Read
Mahmood
Harmison
Anderson

That will pretty much be my team as well. Interesting to see how Anderson can perform (if he returns) after such a long break away from the international game.

Actualy England are the ones with nothing to lose today.
They can go out there and perform without any expectations.
They are the underdogs of Group A which is not a bad thing for them because underdogs have always done well in he Champions Trophy.

If you peole believe in predictions , here are a few of them which a tarrot card reader made on todays` game on a TV Show :
And before Andrew pounces upon me and asks for some reasoning of why he should believe the forecasts , I would like to just inform that Iam not a believer of those either :
1.) Sachin will have an average day
2.) Sehwag,Irfan likely to shine.
3.) Dravid unlikely to have a good game
4.) England to win the toss.
5.) Flintoff not to have a good outing.
6.) Game to be a close one.

I feel England might just win this one .

GO INDIA GO !!

My prediction.

England will win the toss and bat. They will start slowly and end up with only about 30 runs from the first 10 overs. From there they will lose wickets regularly and end up with a poor score.

Well that's going by what has happened this year.

Flintoff has been tipped to bat at 3, that could work well. Him and KP in the middle together could be some entertainment.

Dravid has won the toss and elected to field. Flintoff has said England would have batted anyway.

Two early wickets gone for England..But Bell is very unfortunate.. The ball wud have travelled little high above the bails but was given LBW!! Lets see how England developes from here...

But Pathan bowled a beauty to Fintoff to dismiss him!!!

Flintoff gone for a duck! 3 wickets down... England are goooooooooooooooooooone.

Their going to need Pietersen to pull out one of those hundreds he always used to.

Two main Key players Strauss and KP are still there... This is where England miss Michael Vaughan & Trescothick!!!

18/3 off 8 overs.
A pretty good start by England then...
I'm starting to doubt if this team could beat Bangladesh or Zimbabwe.

I think Bangladesh would give them a run for their money but Zimbabwe would be no contest. To an England win that is. ;)

well its just unfortunate for Bell to be dismissed by a wrong decision..Bell has very great temper to bat in Indian pitches!!!

Also Flintoff returning aftr a long time shd have come down the order rather than exposing himself that too when an early wkt is lost

So its just some unfortunate things going around for England!!! Strength of the team is good enough otherwise!!!

you obviously haven't considered the fact that we are talking about England in ODIs, not in test matches.

Looks like a beautiful batting wicket but same old story with batting - a 6 months Bangladesh tour is needed to bring this team back on track in ODIs.

EDIT - and now Strauss is gone. :noway

England are in deep problems. They are 36/4 after 15 overs. Pietersen is the vital wicket for India to get. But before the match already I expected India to win this match.

well, i expected Strauss to play for some time...

Eng atm 44/4 looking in deep trouble!! hope KP recover the early damage.
So the brave decision of Dravid choosing to bowl in a batting wicket is working now!!!
