Unpopular opinion: I like the Indian jersey. The sponsor tag in the middle doesn't look that bad. It is rather contrasting the overall jersey well. The Adidas stripes really elevate the overall look.

You are correct but there was a chance to play him when Rahane was dropped and Iyer was injured. Vihari is a gritty fellow that is perfect for Test cricket if given a longer run. The man played left handed in a domestic game when he had an injury on his more preferred batting hand. He gives a part time bowling option too which bizarrely none of our top 5 (+keeper) do!

We need this determination and grit. Instead, the team management aimed for 'Sky' and fell flat on their face.

I’m pretty sure Vihari was injured due to batting with said broken arm when SKY was picked, wasn’t he?

I agree that Vihari can feel a bit hard done by because he almost exclusively played in only tough games but he didn’t look suitable to a higher standard of test cricket at all. With how the current fad seems to be faster scoring in tests I don’t think he’ll be back anytime soon.

The red doesn’t mesh with blue at all because of how Dream11 has raised the brightness and contrast to max. If it was a darker shade of red or maroon it would fit in a lot better IMO. The rest of the jersey is spot on.

I like it

What i didn't like is the names of the players behind. What kind of shitty font is that

I stand corrected then.

I beg to differ. India is no England that they would go slambang unless on occasions at home. More often than not, India has been found wanting overseas especially in swinging conditions. He is perfect for that. Also, I don't see the out of nowhere vice-captain Rahane being a long term solution despite him scoring big runs domestically. Its a matter of time before he slumps back in his bad form (hopefully I am proved wrong) but we need to give more chances to players apart from the same ol' Puji, Rahane et al which is why I am happy to see Jaiswal and Kishan in the side. Don't know what wrong has Sarfaraz done to be still out of the team. Maybe they want him to get 6 pack abs and grow beard or something...

LORD is LORD in the end!

Let’s make a slow and spin friendly pitch against the team that has the two of the best spin all-rounders in the world and possibly ATGs to boot, what could go wrong?

Don't speak before they unleash Cornwall and Warrican

I’m not worried about Warrican, he is nothing more than a Barbados enforced pick.

Cornwall could be an issue but he’s also failed to live up to the hype in tests so far. But then again, we all know how great our top order is against spin.

So the only guy playing well in the West Indies side is the guy who has not played a T20 yet in life. Hmmm..

Rakeem is no mug with the bat. Going to sleep fully expecting a partnership here that will take WI over 200.

He was also the guy who scored a fifty on debut in ODIs and then they proceeded to not involve him any further in the qualifiers because he wasn’t from Barbados. He may just be a good player.

And right as he says it…

Has to suck for Athanaze, a test fifty on debut to go with the ODI one would have been amazing especially in his home country.

You are probably right on the Barbados part, but they'd already named the qualifier squad before he got that 50
