India's Tour of Sri Lanka

Virat Kohli will only be used for fielding as susbstitue. Actually noone can eneter this batting lineup in ODI so they could have even selected Akash Chopra for me.

Sehwag
Tendulkar
Gambhir
Raina
Yuvraj
Dhoni
5 Bowlers

I don't think they will break up the Gambhir & Sehwag. At least, I think they shouldn't.

Well Tendulkar just wont play if he is not opening.

I don't think they will break up the Gambhir & Sehwag. At least, I think they shouldn't.

Well, they shouldn't if Tendulkar has one or two years left in his ODI career, but he has intent to continue to 2011.

Squad for Sri Lanka ODIs:
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Parthiv Patel, Irfan Pathan, Praveen Kumar, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, RP Singh, Munaf Patel, Pragyan Ojha.

CRAP.

Badri and Dhawan! Dhawan hit two 180's, Badri was a fantastic captain and hit countless centuries. I have no idea what's going on up there in Vengsarkar's head.

Colonel got bribe from Kohli. Well I can name atleast 5 Delhi guys who deserved more than this kid. Some people are so lucky. If I were him I would put all my money in casino..

If not Badrinath, at least Shikhar Dhawan should have gotten a call. Our selectors always seem to find a way to surprise us.

Seems strange that someone like Badrinath and Tiwary can score shed loads of runs over a decent period of time and then the selectors go with some lad who only has 2 centuries and has played 11 first class games. Maybe the selectors think that the Pattinson/Barnes left field selection will amaze everyone?

No South Indians in the squad of 16.

'Sharing dressing room with Sachin is a dream-come-true'

Though thrilled at the prospect of sharing the dressing room with master batsman Sachin Tendulkar, aggressive batting talent Virat Kohli is candid enough to admit he had not expected a national call-up so soon.

"It is great that I'll get to share the dressing room with Sachin Tendulkar. Playing with him is a dream of every player. I will try to learn from Sachin," the 19-year-old Delhi cricketer said after being included in the Indian teams for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series in Sri Lanka and Champions Trophy in Pakistan.

Mendis's rapid rise surprised us - Jayawardene

Regardless of the outcome of the third and final Test between Sri Lanka and India, the astonishing bowling of Ajantha Mendis will be a highlight of the series. His meteoric rise and popularity have pleasantly surprised his captain Mahela Jayawardene.

"When we saw him we knew we had to develop him in the right manner," Jayawardene said on Thursday. "We never expected him to be this successful early in his career, probably because he hadn't played that much of first-class cricket. We thought he'd take a bit more time to settle in.

India are at 45-0 after 6 overs only. They're playing like it's a Twenty20 match. 49-0 already now.

bad drop by Warnapura but Prasad gets Sehwag for his 1st test wicket.

Dravid should be out in this review.
