I am bored of these thrillers. Both teams tried very very hard to make this interesting. Either team could hve finished this earlier.

Bad bad captaincy from Dhoni. His luck has completely run out and his deficiences are exposed. Going on gut is fine occasionally, but going by gut just because it clicked before for you is ridiculous. Munaf was hit for 8 runs and 10 runs in two consecutive overs (in that 8 run over, he got the wicket of Wan Wyk luckily which made Dhoni persist with him). And worse, Munaf was given a third consecutive over and it sealed us up. Also when Harbhajan is your best bowler of the match and Nehra has done nothing of note, I would bowl Harbhajan atleast in one of the final two overs. Dhoni went for Zaheer in the 49th and brought piss poor Nehra in. Anyways, better that we move forward after having tasted a defeat. Due to the close nature of this game, our NRR is completely intact and it would require England to make a huge jump and for us to fall really bad against West Indies to disqualify.

It won't do us any good, we aren't gonna win the cup like this.
Ashwin is needed in the team and Dhoni need to have better plans.

We should have won this match by 20-30 (even 40) runs. Instead we lost it by 3 wkts. West Indies is no easy work.

Due to Gambhir's self-ful innings and due to Kohli's potential with the bat and his brilliant work on the field, Raina wont make it again. Most likely, Dhoni will bring back Chawla for the Chennai game and will say Ashwin doesnt need to play a game in his career as he is mentally tough. Maybe India should start thinking seriously about Zaheer Khan as our next captain.

As many of you seem to be complaining about the fact that we Indians are pissed, let me give you enough reason as to why we are :

1. V Bangladesh, we scored 380, but struggled to bowl them out

2. V England, despite scoring 338, we managed to 'tie' or 'morally lost'

3. Last two matches v Ire and Ned, we put ourselves in a bad position and scratched for a win when we ought to have won comfortably.

4. Today our middle order screwed us royally. The kind of start we had, 400 was in the offing. We lost 29/9.

5. Throughout the tournament MSD has made foolish captaincy decisions.

6. Even after scoring 296, you expect your bowlers to be able to defend it.

7. Finally, we have lived and bowled on these tracks and need to be able to restrict the opposition and get wickets, which seems a distant dream.

I think that sums up the reaction of Indian fans.

What has he done for the team in the past year or so, either with the bat or captaincy. Some of his decision are pure ████ especially in this WC.

If Ashwin don't make it to the team from next match, then Dhoni will prove that he is complete ████.

Wow, I'm just amazed. I'm sure you guys would have been praising him after the move to bowl Joginder Sharma in WT20 2007 was successful and so much of his other bowling changes during his span of captaincy till date. You guys act like total illiterate people, they are not super beings who will win every time. You gotta accept sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The passion for the game is a nice thing but on one match writing off players isn't. Seriously, we can go along in a better way. Our team is such a brilliant side, and so is SA. They are also here to win, not that just India has to win.

I'm happy that it was a fantastic Cricket match. Both teams to be credited for the quality Cricket.

I don't know what he sees in Nehra and Munaf, bring in Sree and Ashwin next game. They won't do any worse than these two.
Atleast Ashwin is a must from next game.

Absolutely, some people just talk. No one sees the effort the players put for playing for their country. Of course, they themselves want to win the games. It is not like they do it deliberately.

Fielding of Nehra and Munaf cost us. There were almost a dozen instances where they gave 2 runs where should only be one. Even on boundary they gave up when the ball was at a dive away. They should be ashamed of themselves, 38 years old Sachin was throwing himself around the ground. Running and diving like a kid, while these tweaking wee-tards makes a mockery. Whats more is that they laugh off about it.

no luck anymore and weak links are exposed.
It wasn't Joginder Sharma in WCT20, it was Misbah Ul Haq who won it for India. Jogy didn't do anything of note, even he started with a six that match.
Luck is the word.

This is the most important thing. It was good quality cricket by both sides & the better performing team won. Until the QF stage comes up I believe all of us can live with the result of this match.

ANd somehow it's done, and the hard work of the senior players/ performing players is ruined by a mistake of a single player and he becomes the cause of a loss which can prove fatal.
