March 12 : India vs South Africa

God !

It is high time we stopped according demi-God status to cricketers.- Tendulakr, Dhoni etc.

I am quite surprised that you this decision so late. In fact most of us made it during the BD/ Eng encounter itself.
we(india) need super luck to win this WC

Wow, I'm just amazed. I'm sure you guys would have been praising him after the move to bowl Joginder Sharma in WT20 2007 was successful and so much of his other bowling changes during his span of captaincy till date. You guys act like total illiterate people, they are not super beings who will win every time. You gotta accept sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

The passion for the game is a nice thing but on one match writing off players isn't. Seriously, we can go along in a better way. Our team is such a brilliant side, and so is SA. They are also here to win, not that just India has to win.

I'm happy that it was a fantastic Cricket match. Both teams to be credited for the quality Cricket.

Brilliantly said. Plus India is still topping the group. They still have one more match. I guess it was a great quality cricket match.

It wasn't Joginder Sharma in WCT20, it was Misbah Ul Haq who won it for India. Jogy didn't do anything of note, even he started with a six that match.
Luck is the word.

Damn right buddy, that's why its a beautiful game. Its never say never until its shot in the head, dead & buried.

Look at yesterday's game & the ones involving ENG-SA, IND-ENG they were all excellent games.

ANd somehow it's done, and the hard work of the senior players/ performing players is ruined by a mistake of a single player and he becomes the cause of a loss which can prove fatal.
So, the players who perform are the only ones who put in efforts?

One bad match and Sreesanth is out of the ODI team till the world ends and Dhoni giving chances to Nehra and Chawla who are worser than Sree in every matches. Dhoni immediately need to grow a pair of and a good backbone and kick Gambhir out of our team.

Yes, luck plays a vital role. So, maybe today our luck ran out. Some people here speak as if Dhoni has to take only those decisions which work. Surely, it can't happen.

Gambhir? Really, what makes you think that? What did he do wrong today? Wasn't it the middle order who had a job to do after he went?

But even luck won't do anything when you're not giving the best bowler of the day the most crucial over of the day. Infact you're giving it to somebody who doesn't know how to bowl a yorker, is crap and hasn't bowled for last 10 overs, the batsman on the opposite side wanted a seamer rather than Bhajji and Dhoni just gave him the perfect gift. Cricketing legend Nehra.
That's giving luck away.

People need to calm here. It's not the end of the world. We know Dhoni did many mistakes in this match but all we can do is move on and hope for the best for the rest.

Next match - Bring Aswin in for Nehra or Munaf.

Middle order is to blame really, but if you would have watched the whole match(or India's innings) ball by ball, then you'd have realised that he was the man who lost the momentum provided by our openers and brought back the pressure on himself and Tendulkar.
I'm not saying Gambhir don't deserve to be in the team but Kohli is in better form and will be better at no.3 and Gambhir can make way for Raina who can be a useful slogger.

Currently Kohli is way better than Gambhir at no.3 and is useless at any other position. Raina will be a better option than Gambhir at the lower order. Gambhir stays in the team recently just because of his reputation.

Gambhir and Kohli are both in good form. Only thing in favour of Kohli is his fielding which can prove to be quite vital in close games.

Why did he pick Ashish Nehra??????? Harbhajan had an over... all he had to do was dart some from around the wicket and we would have won by a solid 8 run margin... :facepalm:facepalm

That's what we are here to find out

One of the reason we have come across is Dhoni has man crush on Nehra :yes
