March 12 : India vs South Africa

Sehwag so far raping the South African batsman!! They need to pay about what they did to us few months back :D

We performed well though this is a great contest. First a boundary then a great comeback delivery

India off to a good start. Sehwag is playing some remarkable strokes. It's important now that both the batsmen don't give away their wickets at least not before this partnership reaches 100.

Loving the start of rape of South Africa!! Go Sehwag & Tendya!! Go Go Go!!

typical lack of imagination by SA.

watch your two front line quick bowlers get knocked all over the park and attempt to remedy it with... another quick bowler.

try the spinner, get them to force the pace.

also, how stupid to take the bowling power play now when you have two batsmen in and scoring at 9 runs an over. ffs.

This is what start !!!

87 runs in 10 overs in 1st Powerplay. Amazing strokes by Viru-Sachin. :cheers

Amazed about Smith's captaincy today, not yet brought any spinner to control. Anyways good for India. :D

Lord Duminy has arrived.:p

Not looking good for SA and no Tahir to work his magic. Could well see something close to 400 with this start.

Still 10 of the over. Poor captaincy by smith taking the 2nd powerplay now!!

Come on India score 500 today :p Let the morale reach below 0 of the Proteans

After such a great start India need to get a massive total, Anything less than 330-340 would not be enough to guarantee a win. This is a batting paradise, Indian bowlers will struggle too.

Somehow, too much slam-bang batting does not really suit the palate here. Agreed we are batting well, but I would like to see a good keenly contested match.

In the good old days, scores of 280+ were considered to be match-winning totals. Today, one can easily chase them down. Did the BCCI clamour for batting pitches or was it purely an ICC decision.
