Just to clarify the game ends in a win for the town when all mafia are dead and a win for mafia when they outnumber the town.

There's no way the scum just threw away a night kill. Way too risky since we probably have a cop, which puts the scum on a timer. (lol, we have two cops or what) That means, most likely, a successful protection happened somewhere.

I too thought the same, but our doctor was killed before so there's no chance of a successful protection. I guess they forgot about it, and PD continued.
