One Called off T20 - India VS South Africa

Well, India are all set to travel to South Africa just to play one T20 game on 30th march.

This seems like a pact signed by BCCI and CSA. Every year we will see these types of game. TBH this game should have been in India atleast we could see a thriller All we will see now is a low scoring game

I am sure SA will pull around 2 million $$ (15 million rand). In 2008-2009 (When IPL took place there) SA made a wooping operating profit of 5.3 million rand (http://www.cricket.co.za/docs/CSA/FULL_REPORT.pdf)

Having said that I think this should be named as SA-India Friendship series or something similar and should pay tribute to one player from each team every year. Make it a 2 day tournament (Sat, Sun). One day for each player. Probably make the players carry this guy around the ground They should have choosen Boucher and Ganguly this year.

Virender Sehwag has been left out of the India squad for the one-off Twenty20 international against South Africa on March 30 in Johannesburg. Robin Uthappa and Yusuf Pathan return to the Twenty20 setup for the game, and fast bowler Ashok Dinda has been picked ahead of Umesh Yadav. MS Dhoni will lead the side, with Virat Kohli as the vice-captain.
