Siddle and Hopes are in. Watson and Bollinger out. No Mitch Johnson??

For Pakis: Rao comes in and Gul is out.

Sounds screwed up to me, why not just say Johnson is having the whole series off. If hes available there is no question he should be in the side somewhere.

TBH the only guy that has been good in the hit out department is Hussey. Before him I can't even remember our hit out guy, we have tried a few but no one has done it consistent enough.

I'm not sure we've ever had a consistently good one. Ian Healy and Steve Waugh did alright back in the day, but they weren't sloggers. Simon O'Donnell was the man for that. Then we went with Shane Lee or Andrew Symonds. Shane Watson was down at #7 too for a while. But none of them ever really did the job they potentially could have like a Klusener or Afridi.

I think you're better off with good placers of the ball, not whoever can hit the ball the hardest. Ferguson was finishing well last year. Hussey and Bevan always did well. Haddin and Hopes have done OK too.

Marsh out without a 50 Still looks a bit iffy for me, only seems to have one pace with the odd boundary between his dot balls and odd singles. Haddin and Watson could be a good pair both capable of stepping up if the other is having an off day. Also means Ferguson or even Hopes can get into the side.
