RCB need KKR to win the last game for them to qualify for the playoffs. A win for SRH, even by the smallest of margins, puts RCB out of the contest. Still remember how DC got RCB out of the playoffs last season by winning the last game against them. They'd try to do that this time too, only to get themselves through to the playoffs.

Not so long ago did Kohli have a tiff with Gambhir. Now his fortunes lie in Gambhir's hands...

Superb batting from the Sunrisers openers. Dhawan and Parthiv are destroying Kolkata. And they are making sure RCB, Kohli and 'Gangnam' Gayle pack their bags and go back home.... Good going so far!

That six by Dhawan to a short ball by Kallis was just MAGICAL!! I am impressed with Dhawan's fearless approach to short deliveries. Players who have done well for India in the long run have mostly been guys who play the short ball well (with the exception of Ganguly).

SRH brought it too close and made a fake thriller attempt, but eventually those two blows from Sammy sealed it easily. They have been the better team, and deserved it to make the playoffs.

He scored 180 odd in the VB series in Australia to keep India in the competition, but next game Sri Lanka won it and put India out of the finals. Asia Cup, Kohli kept India in the hunt again with a century, but again India was thrown out by another team.... Now Kohli gets a rampaging 50 against CSK to keep RCB in the hunt, but again SRH throws his team out.

Awesome victory there for SRH. Who'd have backed this team 45 days back to go through to the playoffs? RCB are the true chokers of IPL. SRH deserved this place in the playoffs, well played!
