Its floating everywhere in cricinfo, facebook and twitter as far as i know. But the history has repeated yet again.Virat's bad luck is what i can say.Anyways bye bye RCB.

SRH Vs RR-SRH have an edge because the Delhi tracks are low and slow which RR generally struggles.

MI Vs CSK-Two heavy weight teams.Cant say anything atall. The only doubt i have is will they bring back Sachin,Ponting?Or will they be happy with Tare,Maxwell? And i except nothing big from CSK,but if i was MSD,i would drop Holder and bring in Morkel, maybe Nannes depending upon the track which is most likely to be something similar to the surface here in Chepauk.

This year, Delhi tracks have mostly been producing 160 'ish scores (apart from that odd game between DD vs RCB where 183 was scored by RCB and was defended by just 4 runs).

CSK need to practice for Johnson and Malinga, more so Johnson who has been in very good form this season for MI. If they start off well, CSK can have fun with MI's bowlers. Morkel for Holder is the only change I would make too.

Good to see SRH secure that final playoff spot, they totally deserve it, best bowling side by far this IPL.

----------

As far as the playoffs as a whole go, I'm confident, very confident even, if there's one thing we can do better than the other 3 sides, it's play well away and considering all the playoff games are at neutral venues, we've got dis! ;)

Here is the home-away record of each playoff team (based on wins at home and away):

Total (each side): 16 games

CSK - 6-2 home, 5-3 away
MI - 8-0 home, 3-5 away
RR - 8-0 home, 2-6 away
SRH - 7-1 home, 3-5 away

Clearly CSK lead in that front where they have won more games away than the other 3 sides. Rajasthan have the worst away record where they have won only 2 out of 8 away games. Since they play the Eliminator, they better correct that record if they want to stay in the competition.

Can't agree with the home/away wins thing. In the league stage, when it was an away game for one of these teams, it was a home game for the other. Now, both the teams are in an unknown territory. That would make an even contest with no one having an upper hand. The better team on that given day is the one that shall win, no home advantage here. Interesting week this with all the knockouts & the final.
I'd love an MI vs CSK final at the Mecca of Indian Cricket. Time to set things right after the 2010 loss.:D

Very happy for SRH, my second favourite after CSK. We need best of three finals though, because CSK can have a bad day and they are a better team than the other teams in the semis.

Well they have a best of two now to reach the finals. Best of three would make it too time consuming. After having played 17-18 games before the final, CSK should ideally in a good position to win that game and lift the cup.

Did anyone see the heated exchange of words between Steyn and Yusuf? can't understand what they were saying to each other, Yusuf is bad at english and Steyn doesn't understand Hindi..

Steyn does the usual fast bowler's stare when he bowled a bouncer to Yusuf that he missed. Next ball, Yusuf swats a six and tries to get back by clapping his hands high above his head... But then, Steyn gave a sarcastic clap for it and Yusuf tried to cover up by saying "I didn't mean it (that high hand clap) to you".

Yusuf is a TWAT!!

What?? he was signalling it to the crowd, even the commentators said the same thing, Steyn = Pure class, but I think he was being a pussy here, he took it personally because he was hit for a six, he was repeatedly saying a couple of words and walking away and it was quite visible that he couldn't digest it when he was hit for a six in between that extra ordinary spell where he was just dominating the batsmen.
