Just too excited for tonight's match. It all started in season 1 when CSK beat MI by 7 odd runs in a 200+ chase in Chennai, while MI beat CSK at Mumbai chasing 160+ in under 14 overs, Jayasuriya hitting a 100.
Doesn't matter who you support, we're all in for one hell of a contest tonight.

What?? he was signalling it to the crowd, even the commentators said the same thing, Steyn = Pure class, but I think he was being a pussy here, he took it personally because he was hit for a six, he was repeatedly saying a couple of words and walking away and it was quite visible that he couldn't digest it when he was hit for a six in between that extra ordinary spell where he was just dominating the batsmen.

Yea, more on that lines. Steyn couldn't digest it. Would've been interesting had Steyn followed it up with a 150kph yorker than a slower one outside the off stump. Should've let the ball do the talking.

Delhi is a small ground, expect a lot of sixes. Fingers crossed for a CSK win and CSK vs SRH final.

Pune Warriors India leaves IPL. Welcome back to the 8-team IPL. More than happy!

A likely reason being the lack of profit their team his made after Sahara bought it for Rs. 17,00,00,00,000. No official statement yet on the reason for backing out.

I will expect MI's mentor, Anil Kumble to play a major role here. He knows exactly where to bowl on the Kotla track.

Aah, the 10 wicket haul of his at Kotla! Unforgettable one that.

Even on other occasions, Delhi has been his happy hunting ground right throughout his career. I am sure he would have given heaps of tips to the MI bowlers, particularly the tweakers.

They were planning to make IPL a ten team league next year :D

I hope IPL is just the 8 team league with teams split into two groups A and B with 4 teams on each side and the tournament ends within a month. That would be great.

I want a team from Gujarat and I am hoping they don't introduce the retention policy again so every team will be different.

Love the current format of IPL. Bring back the old days. 8 teams, each playing the other twice. :thumbs

It gets too long mate. The inbetween matches are too boring. Its like we are waiting for the playoffs. Are you a student? If so,maybe you can enjoy but not for graduates like me :(

That was way back and the track has been relaid a few times after that mate. And he had a totally different set of fielding positions and a totally different mindset batsman,so whatsoever the 10 wicket haul cant help.

Just to know, have the track changed from when Kumble last participated in IPL as a player?

Good thing for both the team is that both are coming from there big loss in their final match of the league so both will be happy i guess. :D today i feel that chennai will win this

Yes even i to want this 8 teams in the next years ipl no need 10 teams that will frustrate everyone for long tournament. Also remove this pune from ipl they haven't done anything they just finish in 2nd bottom of the table every time. 8 teams will make tournament lot interesting with all teams having depth in their team just 1st three season of the ipl

Can't agree with the home/away wins thing. In the league stage, when it was an away game for one of these teams, it was a home game for the other. Now, both the teams are in an unknown territory. That would make an even contest with no one having an upper hand. The better team on that given day is the one that shall win, no home advantage here. Interesting week this with all the knockouts & the final.
I'd love an MI vs CSK final at the Mecca of Indian Cricket. Time to set things right after the 2010 loss.:D

I don't see what's to disagree with, Chennai have by far been the best travelers and games at neutral venues are just that, travel games.

Batting first with 1 change to the side that lost to RCB, Albie Morkel for James Holder, would've probably gone with Chris Morris myself, but meh, I trust Dhoni.
