Has anybody tried out the second demo?


From what I can gather, the reviews are mainly negative, claiming it to be a repeat of PES 12 gameplay.

Its very similar to the first demo but it plays exactly like PES 12 which I'm really enjoying atm.

What are they playing at - why's there no PC Demo 2 yet? Better get in sharpish Konami, because the Fifa 13 demo is out in three short days...

The second demo is pretty nice, though not better than FIFA.

I still find it funny how they put so much effort into Ronaldo's running style, one player in the whole bloody game... You have to appreciate their attention to detail though.

Reviews have been quite good for PES 13, that's interesting.

They've been quite good, yes, so expect FIFA to come out with 9.5s and 10s across the board.

The game looks good and on the road to providing serious competition for FIFA. I believe they're making a new engine next year, so that could really take PES to the next level.

Should be very interesting to see where the battle goes in the next few years, looks like EA will probably have to put some real effort into visibly improving the game for FIFA 14.

@thedon, they said this was going to be a new engine. It's fairly obvious that FIFA and PES are both waiting for the new consoles before they really go to town redeveloping their franchises.

Player ratings are quite a bit off for non-licensed teams. Doni rated 86! WTF!? Suarez 78?

Master League has some cool new additions with the cutscenes etc, but EA's manager mode is still much better presented.

Evo-web is good. That's where all the patches are made, rest are just uploaded on some blogs.
