South Africa in Australia Dec 2008-Jan 2009

Well Australia and SOuth Africa both have a C in common...

Australia=Champs
SOuth Africa=Chokers

Very nice....To defeat Aus at home is very difficult...SA might come close to beat Aus in test,hopefully it will a good test series....

I didn't watch Aussie vs NZ but is Lee getting his form back? Because if not then Steyn is easily the winner if you compare the two. But if Lee gets his form back then it would be an amazing contest between the two.

The prospect of Steyn scares me to a degree, I mean if RP Singh can trouble us with gentle paced swing bowling, then the 150km/h stuff will be like a jackhammer into our top order. On the other hand, last time Steyn toured he got absolutely punished in the ODIs, so don't know what to expect. Hopefully he hasn't improved much since then, although the stats disprove that.

Tipping Ashwell Prince to have a big series. Last time the only reason he was moved was due to Warne and now that factor's gone he won't be able to be dismissed.

Inbox was spot on Siddle is definitely playing which begs the question why was Watson in the 12 originally if hes not even next in line to play.

Purely a reward for his Shield game performance. They don't want to drop Symonds and he's not going to outbowl a specialist quickie, so there is really no spot for him - a shame really. He was named purely for confidence reasons I'd say, keep him yearning to play for Australia.

It was one game when he played straight after getting of the plane. Added to that he is much much better bowler now than he was back then. He is still a better test bowler than odi bowler, has always been but even his odi performance are much improved.

I think back than Steyn was allot like Tait, he just wanted to bowl as fast as he could. But now he learned and even tho he can bowl every ball at 150+ he operates in the 140s from what Iv Seen.

Lee is better than Steyn of Tait according to me...All 3 van bowl fast,but lee has more experience and class,he bowls really good slow delivery and very good yorkers,one main thing is,he uses the crease,not many bowlers use it when they dont get wickets,Lee tried hard,and i feel he is coming out of is bad patch...

If Steyn gets it right there's no hope for the top order or the whole team for that matter. He gets good late swing and the batsmen are unsure to go front foot or back foot when he's on song. Problem with Steyn is he is quite inconsistent and can spray it.

Aus batting first after winning toss...Duminy to debut (SA)....One of the most awaited series of the year to start soon.....

Hayden is out...Perfect ball..He came around the wicket,it moved a bit...Perfect...Early wicket,early blow for Aus...

nikhil_99 added 1 Minutes and 0 Seconds later...
