South Africa in England

Strauss gone, lbw to Morkel. Poor decision by umpire Harper, pitching outside leg-stump.

Steyn!

I hope this could trigger a bit of progression into the innings now, should do heaps for the morale.

Geez, I can't understand for the life of me why you can say that "Strauss is unlucky" "Umpire made a mistake". Its not a deadset rule that the ball must pitch in line, more a guideline when making a decision. When I saw it live I immediately thought OUT, thats plumb. Reply comfirmed, hawkeye saw the ball go crashing right through the middle of middle stump. I couldn't care less if the ball only just didn't pitch in line, there was no doubt it was going to hit the stumps. Out, good decision.

Erm, it is.

Typical England collapse here. Big pressure on Bell and then after that Collingwood, be nice for them to prove the doubters wrong. Still got Pietersen there, so hopefully he can make a decent knock.

Another one. 3 quick wickets. England are in trouble here. The openers were just starting to play a bit more positively and now that England are 3 wickets down, they're going to have to re-group and need Pietersen and Bell to adopt a slightly more defensive approach towards their innings.

omg, how did we do this. Well bad umpiring didn't help but stil, Vaughan gets bowled like that so often. Need KP and Bell to do it now. 400 is a minimum imo but I can't see us getting there.

Not if it hits him in line
No, the bowler was bowling from over the wicket to a left-hander. The ball cannot pitch outside leg-stump for an LBW to be given. It can pitch outside offstump if the ball hits him in line.
