South Africa in England

That was nearly a year ago. Mind you, he could've got a hat full at Durham last week!

Tomorrow's T20 has been cancelled due to the constant rain.

Bleeding Northerners!

Actually Jonesy did bowl a few overs against Durham in last years Championship match at Canterbury.

Really - fantastic have you got a link to the scorecard Kev?

What were the circumstances - was it just a bit of fun, or did Kent need Jones to send down a 100mph yorker that shattered the off stump?

I have a scorecard, as I was watching it. Sadly I didn't bother to fill in the bowlers stats. It was the last game of the season, Kent were getting hammered, Durham only needed 50 odd in their second innings to win, Saggers Kept wicket and Kent opened the bowling with Dexter and Walker, followed by Denly, Jones and Key.

I tried to find it on cricinfo, but dont really know how to ask the question, if anyone stumbles across it i's be really gratefull, only i love little things like this. Keepers bowling, parttimers taking wickets that sort of thing

Same, i think the adernaline rush of every edge either being dropped by jones, made unnecesserily spectacular by jones, or caught by trescothick after Jones dived in-front of him is sorely missed.

Anyone remember that stunner - a rebound of 1st slip?

It seems like an age since the end of the fourth test. I wanna see some more cricket!

The ODI on Monday was not televised, and eventually rained off, and the Twenty20 today has been cancelled because of the wet outfield.

I was at Old Trafford when he took that stunner, was my best memory of the day, that or when Ponting got out and he stood there cause he thought he'd lost them the game. The best days cricket I've ever watched.

Brilliant!

Anyone up for founding "The official Geriant Jones Bowling appreciation Soceity" hehe

Yes oh Yes, Harmison has come out of ODI retirement, just heard it on Sky Sports. KP is King!

He won't get the new ball. England have learnt from the last time he tried it, be good to have him back in the side though. He's bowled brilliantly for Durham this year, and any extra cricket before India is good for him.
