South Africa in England

This is England at a decent level, but i have to be level headed and say that South Africa haven't been great. Broad bowled well but he could have gone for more runs, and probably less wickets!

I wouldn't all start shouting our ODi re-birth just yet! South Africa have a nasty habit of regrouping and biting you on the arse! Pietersen is captaining well! The field is up for it, the bowlers are bending thier backs and they're getting the rewards!

Best game i've seen in a while but, i'm still wary.

SA Commentator, Pollock, I think:

Those floodlights look like old musical microphones. He's right, as well!

83 allout

This has been the best ODI bowling performance I can remember from England all the bowlers were spot on

Sensible, I suppose. We have seen a few false dawns with this team, but I have a good feeling about the guys under Pietersen.

Whats happening here. Finally England doing good for the talent they have.

I think they'll look more like white cricket balls when turned on at night. He's got a point though.

83 all out. Awesome performance, just hope we win convincingly now. Hopefully Belly and Prior will get a good start and see us home.

If England get less then a 10-wicket victory they should be disappointed.

And why in the world is Albie Morkel batting so low!

Prior did well as keeper. Broad bowled well, unlucky with the 3 fours. KP was good with his field. Harmison bowled well, even if it was just one over. Clever bowling.

***** and Owned. Dam, cannot believe we won so easily. What a bowling performance, and which planet cricket user said Stuart Broad is a poor bowler?

When i say won, we have not yet, but we will. :p

South Africa need to learn that England pitches don't have a medium. We have spinning pitches, dead pitches, bouncy pitches and all other differnt types! This is a fair young SA team, so they need to learn this!

Even Kallis has struggled, so how these 23-26 year old guys are meant to do well on them is beyond me!

England looking better, but as i've said, we need to keep it up. England always mess things up, hopefully KP can be a bit more like a Ponting/Smith/Vettori captain, very active in the field but what he says goes! And its final.

I think from the looks of it, Vaughan let a bit too much discussion go on. Still a fantastic captain!

I think Anderson is lucky here, he didn't bowl well, but when South Africa bat like that and England take advantage, the incosistancy of Anderson can be carried. Generally he will have one expensive/wicketless innings, and the next he'll get 4+ for under 3.

Lets all laugh at SA!

England were just hitting the right spots, with the ball swinging SA just had no chance what so ever. I loved Freddie's celebrations when we bowled them out. :)

Anderson did bowl well. Those figures are harsh; three times he was edged for 4 and he nearly had AB De Villiers caught out as well.

And i'll say it again, if England can do this then South Africa can do this. We're overwhelming favourites to wint his game at a canter, but lets not start celebrating yet.

Anderson's ODi place is more secure than his Test place. He's got a great ODi record, and a couple of wicketless games shouldn't put him under pressure. He is the guy that would most likely go out of the team should Sidey hit form again.
