South Africa in England

That innings will have done Flintoff the world of good. We could well reap the benefits of it later on in the series.

Im sure it will, he was looking good and was very sturdy in defense. All he needs in a big innings and he'll be back to the allrounder he was.

Is it just me or does the weather never save england? (im really clutching at straws now).

We got this game in the bag final pair to put on 300 and bowl them out of 11 overs. Come on!!

More like next 2 balls 2 wickets going.

It seems that ever since we used the rain as a 12th man to beat the Aussies in 2005 the weather has been out to get us.

I can see England, if they're lucky making SA bat again. I'd love to see them come out to get 2 or 3 runs :p

BTW not seen any of the match since the first day, how did pattinson bowl? What speeds was he reaching? Whos been englands motm batting and bowling wise?

Pattison bowled well but i don't think he's test standard was clocking from 80-85mph. Englands batting MOTM was probably Anderson  and bowling wise both Anderson and Flintoff bowled very well.

Pattinson bowled okay. Nice strong action, got good bounce. Was mainly from 78-81mph with the odd ball at 84mph but certainly wasn't lacking in visible pace in terms of carry and bounce.

Anderson MOTM Bowling.

Cook MOTM Batting.

Pattinson bowled pretty well and reached 85mph but was normally 80mphish.
