Sri Lanka in England/Netherlands

England have won the toss and are batting. There off to a good start. 40/0 from 9.1 overs. England need a total of at least 250 here, Sri Lanka have form, confidence, and I bet they will feel like they can chase anything down. Too bad Fox Sports aren't showing this live. But the highlights are on tomorrow which is good.

Struass out LBW to Vass now. Intresting to see how Bell will play, he is under pressure at the moment.

What happens if Jaysuria scores 100 too? Or Jaywardene for that matter.

I can;t wait to watch Bandara. Hes pretty talented. He should take a few wickets.

Looks like I jinxed England; Tresco out! Looks like a typical England ODI batting collapse now.

Yes, Trescothick leaving a big gap according to Cricinfo, not a great shot by the sounds of it, pressure on Bell and the rest now.

Yep, Trescothick played a daft shot. Bell needs to tie up an end and let KP free his arms.

KP tried to free his arms to a bad ball from Malinga, got a knick straight to Sangakarra. England now 102-3 with Colly and Bell at the crease.

Lou-den by the sounds. I'm waiting for our bowling to see what it's like. As for batting, 270 would be nice

270?! With the way these two are going we'll be lucky to get 220! More risks need to be taken.

EDIT: Well i'm proven completley wrong as usual! Great knock from Belly, a few good knocks from Colly and Dalrymple and a handy 22 from England's number 1! :D

And it's nice that England have batted out their 50 overs too!

I still fancy Sri Lanka to knock off our 261 though.

And Jayasuriya needs to be taken quickly.

Off Topic: Is it Loud-en or Loud-on?

Spelt with an o.

261-7

Bell with 77

4 scores of 30 (Tres, Strauss, Colly and JD)

About par score for that pitch I reckon.

I hope Harmison and Plunkett are motivated in front of their home crowds. And Colly too, but he rarely needs motivating does he?

EDIT: Well so much for that, Harmy and Plunkett opened, and it's 38-0 of 5 overs. England really have been pathetic with the ball in this series. Now I really think Sri Lanka will coast this.

Oh No! Saj is on.

This bowling is sh*t. They've all bowled in the wrong places and gave Jayausriya easy runs. Good thing the world cup is on becuase the english media would slaughter this lot...
