Sri Lanka in England/Netherlands

Good job! They've dug deep and proved what they are capable of. I knew that we would only have a chance to win this match if we batted first as we are no good at chasing.

England were 0-0 off 2 overs, Sri Lanka 38-0 off 2 overs. This England attack is pathetic, Bangaladesh are better than this. England will lose this match because they can't even defend 321. Just bowl line and length!!:mad

Does anyone need me to lambast the selectors and coaching anymore?

Kirtley and Lewry at Sussex are better than this pile of poop.

Ali and Bresnan are panicking and SL are taking advantage. Why is the only real experienced fast bowler not bowling yet?

I know that he's not such a good one-day bowler, but at least Matthew Hoggard can hold his line! He troubled the Sri Lankan batsmen so much in the test series too.

It always bothers that he doesn't get to play much ODI cricket. I know he hasn't been great, but certainly better than these guys.

EDIT: Three dot balls by Plunkett. Wow!

Is Darren Gough dead? Because I can't see any other reason why these idiot selectors keep picking Bresnan ahead of him. Thank God SL are chasing or we could have a new world record on our hands. Also, on the subject of Bresnan being one of England's worst ever selctions; Is Geoffrey Boycott's mother available for the Pakistan ODI's?

54-0 of 4 overs, this is absolutley pathetic! Is that the quickest team 50 in ODI cricket?

FOR CHRIST'S SAKE ENGLAND JUST BOWL LINE AND LENGTH!!!!!

Even Harmy isn't making a difference! With Collingwood injured too, this is going to be a 9 or 10 wicket victory. England are a disgrace.

75/0 off of 6 overs. I can't think of a better start to a decent total. Well done to SRL. Strauss has some thinking to do.

Here's an interesting fact:

12th March 2006: South Africa vs Australia, Johannesburg:

Australia 66-0 of 10 overs.

Same Match:

South Africa 80-1 of 10 overs

You have absolutley no idea how glad I am that Sri Lanka didn't bat first.
