Sri Lanka in England/Netherlands

What a massacre!!

Sri Lanka 189/0 (18.6 ov)
Sri Lanka RR 9.94 :laugh

Sri Lanka can stop embarrassing them any more.

207-0! It's a good job the other England are playing so that the papers won't be all over us tommorow. I feel sorry for Trescothick really, his hundred is worth sod all because of this tripe.

This is insane. Strauss has just taken the second powerplay!

Sri Lanka 216/0 after 23 overs. With three fours in the previous over and Jayasuriya is on 99 runs.

And he gets his century now. :clap :)

Lol, they are ruthless at the moment. This has been a extremely successful tour for SL, and what a way to end it! These two are on for the highest opening partnership now...30 odd runs still required.

can't wait to watch this in the morning when it's replayed on aussie tv. this is just incredible stuff - much like what happened at joburg. who says ODIs are boring?

Well, i don't think anyone mentioned that ODI's are boring...may be you've got it wrong :p

This is the highest opening partnership ever in ODI's and poor England, another dismal performance from bowlers. They've got lot of things to be taken care of before the Ashes, but for now...they are very much the underdogs, may be even less.

I don't mean anyone here. I mean with all the new rules they've tried to introduce so that the game isn't as predictable....and all of the bad press about the game (all english media mind you). Run rates of 8-10 per over are now looking realistic over a 50 over period which is incredible. The only thing that's predictable these days is england's performance.

Good record to have for these two players. :)

Now I hope they finish the job without any loss of a wicket.

Ashes=Tests. This series has no bearing whatsoever on the Ashes, because I guarantee that Bresnan will not playing on the first morning at Brisbane.

didn't know Ashes was tests...

Well dude, i'm also referring to the injuries England is having right now. I know december is a lot of time but they may not have Vaughan and Jones, Giles is half sure. Hamirson is currently struggling, Flintoff has too much pressure on him, and only the openers/pieterson look sound.

You'll need some really good bowlers to confront Aussie batsmen in their backyard. They'll be looking for revenge, and it'll be a tough tough challenge for these guys.

Though i want England to do well, i doubt that'll happen

Don't read much into Harmison's form in this series; he's never taken to ODI cricket. Wait until the end of the Pakistan tests to judge Harmison.

I guess thats the reason why i said december is a lot of time. He's currently struggling.,..but might strike back later.

SL approaching 300, massacre!

Sri Lanka are gonna win this by 10 wickets within 40 overs. That's gotta be some kind of record.
