West Indies tour of India Dec-2019

This is dodgy.
I guess he was talking about Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, etc. Were you @icyman ?[DOUBLEPOST=1575180014][/DOUBLEPOST]Tbh with the team we have and looking at their T20I form I doubt whether India would make it past Super 10.

Indeed!

My point regard KLR being that he does show off his talents in domestic. however that hasn't translated into a consistent run of form at the highest level. Unless we give some chances to the new brigade, they wont be able to perform. With the T20 World Cup only a few months away, its imperative that the other get an opportunity to knock around.

This is the best team that the West Indies can play today

Evin Lewis :bat:
Brandon King :bat:
Lendl Simmons :bat:
Nicholas Pooran :wkb:
Shimron Hetmyer :bat:
Kieron Pollard :c: :ar:
Sherfane Rutherford :ar:
Jason Holder :bwl:
Hayden Walsh Jr :bwl:
Kesrick Williams :bwl:
Sheldon Cottrell :bwl:

I expect India to play this line-up today

Rohit Sharma :bat:
KL Rahul :bat:
Virat Kohli :c::bat:
Shreyas Iyer :bat:
Rishabh Pant :wkb:
Manish Pandey :bat:
Ravindra Jadeja :ar:
Bhuvneshwar Kumar :bwl:
Deepak Chahar :bwl:
Kuldeep Yadav :bwl:
Yuzvendra Chahal :bwl:

Harsha Bhogle Is so biased to west indies. He said 'what a shot' when Brandon King hit Chahar for a 4, an Indian opening bowler. The nerve...

Shivam Dube over Manish Pandey is still a decent move as that gives us an additional bowling option. Not too sure what are the future plans of the team regarding Kuldeep Yadav. I hope we get him in as soon as possible and find out our best possible bowling combination.[DOUBLEPOST=1575640099][/DOUBLEPOST]My God ! Lewis is looking dangerous today. The last time he played this way he got a century against us. That too twice ! What's up with him today ? :spy

There's a six for the talented Brandon King ! West Indies looks good for a 225-230 score right now. Both of these batsmen are power hitters and they don't just hit anything blindly.

Is today our off-day ? Even our best bowler of this format is disappearing today. :facepalm

That didn't look out to me. Poor decision not to review that one.

Ps: So it was Umpires call hence not much of a different there but had to take a chance for sure.

Why is Virat Kohli getting hyper passionate about Rishabh Pant's success in international cricket? He just went on an explosion after Pant hit that offside six. He needs to calm down. As a captain, he cant put all his eggs in one basket

And as I type this, Pant slogs his way out of this match!! However, I loved Virat's signature repeat of Williams celebration. That was a good one! And the gamesmanship from Williams, running in and bowing out of the delivery stride the very next ball!

I felt there was a lot of hyper reaction from Kohli today. Should calm down just a bit.

I felt if we play Kuldeep today we could've cut down the West Indies score to under 190 !! Anyways fortunately our ideally average T20I batting line-up took us to the victory today. Some positives to take from this match like Rahul's batting and Kohli gaining back his T20 form. I think from a confidence perspective Pant had a decent outing. There is a problem that when Bumrah becomes fit who do we need to rest and who do we need to play.

Ya, agree. He was very scratchy for first 20-25 balls and it just made him play some ugly shots which is so not Kohli. He looked pretty restless today. I don't mind him doing the signature stuff to Williams but arguing with umpires in more than 1 occasion is just not good. But he played some amazing shots in the end.

I so badly wanna see VK get a century in T20I.

It was like watching the Kohli of 2011-14 ultra aggressive, swearing and expressing his emotions after almost every shot and that typical pumping of fist after hitting the winning runs.
