All Time ODI Cricket Draft <---Shravis uppp

Well it's a big day for Howsie then. If he doesn't get his picks in, that's 2 down the drain.

Well, 24 hours are up but I don't feel right taking both of his picks away. How about he makes one of his picks after I make mine now? That way the draft is still moving along. I don't want to make it 24 hours PER PICK because we run the risk of having waited over 40 hours for Howsie to make a choice. However, by allowing me to make my pick and giving Howsie one pick right after, the draft just stops after I make my pick because he would be next. It's like 1AM in New Zealand so he's not going to be online. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Do you just want to punish him and take away both picks and say it's because we have to be consistent in the enforcement of rules?

That sounds OK to me I reckon. Have a pick Shravi and then Howsie can have another chance today with his 2nd pick.

By making this pick, I have ensured that I have the most destructive ODI opening partnership of all time. Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden compliment each other wonderfully and would send a chill down any bowler's spine. Matthew Hayden was both mentally and physically strong. His mind was engraved with the Australian 'take no prisoners' attitude while his body was built like that of an ox. He averaged 43.80 with 10 centuries and 36 half centuries. Hayden also had a most enviable trait of playing well on the biggest stage of them all (in ODI cricket). He is only the third batsman to have scored 3 centuries in a single World Cup. He holds the unique record of having scored the fastest World Cup century and is only the second player in World Cup history to surpass 600 runs in a single tournament. He also holds the highest score in an ODI by an Australian batsman (not to mention in tests too, but that is irrelevant). In 2007, he was awarded for his efforts as the ODI player of the year. I truly think that he is the best opener in ODI history after Sachin Tendulkar, and most certainly Australia's best.

Brian Lara

One of only eight batsmen in the history of one day international cricket to score more then 10,000 runs, Brian Lara amassed 10,405 runs over his 17 year career with 63 50's and 19 100's. Brian Lara will bat at three in my team where for the West Indies he batted 106 times and averaged 45.5 with a strike-rate of 85.5, he also scored 12 of his 19 100's at three.

1.Sachin Tendulkar
2.
3.Brian Lara
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
11.

So it's my pick again right?

If Harishan doesn't make his pick then I'd support you stepping in for him. That'd be the 2nd pick missed by him otherwise.
