Australia Tour Of India 2012/13

9 five-fers in 16 test matches for Ashwin. Some serious numbers for him!

----------

100 wickets for Ojha.

----------

So team really wants Rahane in the middle order and not as an opener.

13 out of his 16 tests have been in India? Crazy numbers. Where as since 2010 2/3rds of NZ tests have been away from home.

So India have started their reply to the aussies pretty well.....Hope it Gets Finished as a strong one at the end of the day.....

Tendulkar was absolutely plumb the first time.I thought the second one was just a tad high.Kettleborough doesn't give LBWs easily, does he?Just that it were the tailenders in India's case.

This is an absolute cracker of a pitch.

Would be a bit rude to give Tendulkar out lbw when that's the whole reason why the BCCI oppose DRS :p

Alright, what's with Australian sledging and all even to debutant Rahane? Thought they finally can play a series without using mouth for first 3 Tests, some things never change I guess. I wonder if this has something to do with absence of Clarke, perhaps deseperate enough for a win when they couldn't do using bat or ball?

Anyways Lyon is bowling great for once.

Sledging is a part of the game. Get over it. Grown men can handle it. They're not school children. Any sport is as much mental as physical.

Tendulkar out. This is looking bad for India.

They're not there to coddle Rahane. Being nice to Rahane can be done off the field or be done by his own team. On the field, it should be pure competition. I actually like a bit of talk, as long as it isn't racism/too far. It gets everyone fired up and the players play with a really entertaining intensity as a result.

When you've got 11 people on the field with 2, why not take the advantage by playing mind games with the 2 that are completely outnumbered? It only makes sense.

Gotta agree. Loving the competition between bat and bowl which has been lacked in this series. But cricket is a Gentleman game for a reason though.

Ah, Just what I was expecting, more sledging :D

lol, wtf is happening here?

what playkid said.

it's part of the game he'll just have to deal with it. you can hardly say the aussies lack respect, look at the end of day after dhawan hit his 186, pretty much every australian went over to shake his hand and congratulate him.

It shouldn't be just a coincidence of change of attitude with absence of their Captain though. I have a lot of respect for Clarke btw so maybe team comes out with different mentality in his leadership.

Australia seems more stronger team when they are sledging so i wouldn't mind as long as things don't heat up.

With playkid as well, I love the sledging, just adds that extra bit to the game.

Its too pessimistic to already start thinking that we won't win in South Africa. Its going to be super tough, but miracles/special wins have happened in cricket. I am not going into any series with the notion that India will lose it.

I wouldn't mind Sachin going to South Africa, but I wouldn't also mind Sachin not going to South Africa.

It's really not a miracle if you're going into a series expecting 3 or 4 of them. :p

there was a lot of talk about using this test to experiment. in that vein this is pretty interesting situation. Jadeja has still to answer some questions about his batting so here's the chance to do that.
