Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

Well crowd attendance in a test match is a problem even with well established grounds.Crowd in matches indore vs nz,vizag vs eng are much higher than regular stadiums. My view new stadiums can be developed than restricting to main centers.

You cant feed people T20 and then try to develop test cricket. Test cricket should be kept elite to the established grounds which have a rich test cricketing history and has all the chances of getting consistent crowds. Also I did include Hyderabad (Vizag) in my test grounds list. I am not sure about Indore though, but if it keeps getting consistent audiences irrespective of the season or the time when the test is played, then yes it can be included. Places like Pune, Dharmashala, Mohali, etc should not host test cricket. Especially Mohali has even acquired the reputation of becoming a poor test venue with very lacklustre attendance.

Also I did include Hyderabad (Vizag) in my test grounds list.
Vizag is in Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad is in Telangana
Both have no connection except for Telegu speaking people
Although your point is correct
Better to have tests at venues which attracts crowds rather then having empty stands

Agree with that mohali thing.Even Kings Xi changed their venue for home matches

Come on dude. What are you on about? You seriously think I have prejudices or some sort of superiority complex? If you've read my posts consistently, you'll see that I'm not that chap. I have very recently said that English/Aussie fans in general, are more educated and literate than us. What does that make me? Anti-nationalist? I am not looking down on anyone and simply stating facts/opinions. Sometimes in debates the two get entangled and it's a bit childish, but that's the point of forums. Also, I'd request you to not generalise people when I have made posts. It doesn't warrant the rest of the fans being made subject to things that you're accusing me of.

Lastly, I think @CerealKiller @Rehan_24 and a few more of us have had frequent debates and discussions on India, Pakistan and a lot of other cricket stuff and they will tell you that I'm not xenophobic. My love for Pakistan cricket has nothing to do with our political stands. They don't become the reason why we should engage in childish arguments when we guys directly aren't responsible for any of that. So, chill a little and while I'm not seeking any sort of apology, you're way way off the accusations you're making mate!
Probably I did read a bit too much into it.
However you have made another controversial statement saying that English/Australian fans are more literate, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Coming to match tomorrow, I just watched Kohli press conference. What I liked about him is his calmness and clarity of views. On the field, He is quite aggressive and off the field He is quite there for you with his clear goals and plans and someone who is not threatened by the mind games playing by Australia at the moment rather handling it with maturity. He is very eager to reply back to Australia on the ground which is great to see and a benchmark approach for the subcontinent captains. I am hoping a very strong response from Indian batting in this match, Lets hope for an even good pitch this time around. Tomorrow would be a cracker
I am expecting an Indian defeat by an inns inside of three days.....all depending on the pitch preps.

Oh sorry. The separation of the states came pretty recently, thereby leading to my mix up.

Crowd is building up outside the stadium.

India batting first on an expected flat deck with an extra batsman. Think we know the result already, India will win by an innings. Expecting Kohli, Pujara and Rahane to pile up the runs with a half century from Ashwin too.

Why is everyone thinking that if team bat firsts, they will win ? In England series, India lost majority of the toss, batted second and still managed to win. Plus Aussies have got a great start to this series. They will be positive. And India has the worst win to loss ratio in Bangalore.

Damn. Vijay is injured.

England were rubbish from a bowling and fielding perspective. Today, on a pitch that is expected to assist batsmen, India have the better batsmen as well as bowlers. Tbh, irrespective of batting first or second, India are overwhelming favourites at home. Haven't seen home dominance of this level in a long time since maybe the Australian team of 00s.

Mukund gone for duck ! This is his last shot for the Indian team and he should have utilized it.

Not a bad start from India. Australia were a bit unfortunate not to dismiss Pujara/Rahul but the two have safely negotiated a potentially slippery slope. Should be able to score once the bowlers tire.

Well. That wicket ruined it for us. This was the last over before lunch.
