One win seems to have really given a boost to your confidence!

Isn't this more or less the same team and attack that has been caned all around Asia in the past 2-3 years?

As opposed to the same Indian bowling attack that gets caned everywhere that isn't Asia?

I'll take our bowlers any day of the week. Sharma and Yadav better than Starc and Hazlewood lol

To be fair, it's the same team and attack that just slaughtered India at home.

I think Aus have a better batting line up except for 2-3 (Mitch Marsh, Wade and maybe Shaun Marsh) and have a better bowling line up (difference between Starc, Hazelwood and Sharma, Yadav is bigger then the difference between O'Keefe, Lyon and Ashwin, Jadeja).

I find it interesting that Nair has a GN bat it's not very often an Indian has a GN, I can't remember ever seeing an Indian with one maybe back in the 80's?

It's so good to see Lyon amongst the wickets in this test as SOK was in the first I hope he gets 8. Rahul had no help at all from the other end he has carried this Indian innings.

It's understandable. He didn't get support from other end, his shoulder pain occurred again, he was pissed off understandably. Didn't care that he was in 90s and went for big shot. Very good innings !

Got to take your hat off to Lyon! I had said that he will surprise a few people and he hasn't disappointed. But he's exceeded expectations. Superb!

I'd also said 4-0 before this series began and the Aussies have done a good job of humiliating me. Should change my avatar to the 'face palm' emoticon.

Ishant is bowling 90 mph ,really has its tail up but inconsistency in line and length has been the issue for him ever since he made his debut.

Fantastic day from Australia hopefully these two can set us up nicely tomorrow I reckon we will need 400+ in this innings.

Marsh bowled 2 overs so I don't see the point of him being in the team we are better off with a 6th batsman

I notice that Nathan Lyon mentioned he worked with John Davison, was that the same guy who played for NSW and Victoria? His old man was my teacher at school

In my opinion, India are reaping what they have sown. In previous series (namely, the England series), India prepared turners and Ashwin and Jadeja ran through the line-ups after Indian batting had set up a good platform on the first day.

Good thinking for Australia to plan their course of attack and train their spinners to run through India. I really feel India need to stop preparing these spin friendly pitches going further in to the series.
