Australia tour of India (Feb '17/Mar '17)

I guess Australia missed the trick by not over attacking like they did in the 1st innings of 1st test match. Pitch is deteriorating with uneven bounce, today is probably the best time to bat on this pitch with overhead conditions. Any target of 120-150 will be a good test for Australia, the question is will India survive to get that lead.

They've already smashed 14 off the first 2 overs what are you lot worried about.

And it's exactly what India has been doing for the past 3 innings, right?

Of course they haven't that's why I said they have no choice.

We are a batsman short and India are forced with no choice but to bat with application like we did, 87 won't be enough
You are a pessimist. You are acting as if that lead is no big deal. There wer already couple of edges and one variable bounce in just 2 overs.

This match was lost on the first day itself.

I have no problems with losing but lose with a fight, not surrender meekly.

They've fought well with the ball. Just poor in the field and strategically.[DOUBLEPOST=1488778638][/DOUBLEPOST]

Who?

The Indian openers have just showed how to play on this wicket - with smartness and positivity. I still feel Australia showed Ishant and Umesh too much respect and eventually shot themselves in the foot. A lead of 87 isn't big enough. Even if Rahul keeps giving chances every two balls, he has shown that it is possible to score on the pitch without being in a shell.

You are the pessimist. India's intent will win them the game and at the most will be 1 down when they hit the lead

Uh-oh. The game's rapidly running away from Australia. The pitch doesn't look as threatening as it did at first and India are the taking the game to their opponents.

0/34 already and 87 is too much of a lead...and I'm a pessimist? Lol[DOUBLEPOST=1488779904][/DOUBLEPOST]Not only will India romp home by about 100 runs but this innings is the catalyst to a 3-1 series win. It was nice pretending for a bit we had a chance but 197 runs yesterday was nowhere near enough.

They will have a lead in 10 overs without a wicket down jeez how the hell could you possibly be concerned

Lead below 50. Exceptional batting from the Indian openers, rarely look troubled and showed that you don't need to plod at half a run per over to survive on this pitch. Australia should watch and learn.

In this pitch, 1 wicket gets 2 and then 3 and so on... So, Aussies should not panic. They certainly hold the momentum.
