Australia's Tour Of India - 2008

A good day for India, but could have been a little more better. Krejza's performance gives me lot of hope that the Indian spinners could pose even more trouble (both are more accomplished than Krejza with one being on the cusp of 300 wickets).

WELL DONE TENDYA!!! I knew you would come good in Nagpur (I have been good with predictions at Fantasy cricket this series) and you have vindicated me.... FANTASTIC TON!! Yes you were lucky, but you were unlucky (in the sense that he deserved it) in the previous few innings not to get to that ton. Well deserved ton! Its rare that Sachin goes in an Aussie series without a hundred. Ganguly and Dhoni are batting together now. If India can cross 400, then they are in with a very good chance. If Australia can bowl us out for 350 odd, they would feel a little better, but still playing Harbhajan and Mishra is going to be challenging on this wicket with turn and bounce.

Dravid is the one who should retire , not Ganguly. Ganguly is looking good again for another big score.:(

True! But Ganguly is batting well this series more due to the free mind having announced retirement. Its fine that he goes, because he has had his time up too.

Sachin will play till the age 0f 70. He will make 20,000 runs in test and will die there by a heart attack.Reason for the Heart attack he has scored 20,000 :p

What the holy....

Need minimum 500 on board.

Also indians should thnk Greg Chappel.:p

Kiwis and Saffers will suffer his wrath though.

Just Drop Lee, he is becoming useless these days

The things people come up with these days...

Satisfactory day IMO. I agree with Sachin, Losing 5 way too many, I was hoping either Sachin or Laman would be there at the end of the day to continue the run flow - (Not saying MS or Ganguly can't score). I hope we get to at least 450 tomorrow, On a spinning wicket like this, That will be a very good score, I expect Bhajji and Mishy to really take charge when bowling. I mean if Krejza can get that much turn, on the first day as well. Imagine What they can do on on days 3 onwards...This was the situation that we were in Mohali, Dhoni and Dada there at Stumps, and they fired the next day, Hope they can do a repeat of that as well as the tail wagging. Also well played Sachin :)

Hey world champion you live in India. Are you Aussie? What's it like living as a foreigner. An English mate of mine lives in New Dehli and goes to the American school (JFK high or something like that)...
OT, but last I checked the American school in Delhi was called American Embassy School (AES). Not sure if they've opened another one, though that would be strange.

Wow, for being on debut against the Aussies, Vijay was unaturally calm and solid, until good thinking by Watson undid him. I was impressed by both the debutants, more so Kerjza for holding his nerve very well after Sehwag destroyed him earlier on. Although, Sehwag did sortof gift his wicket away, but that's Sehwag for you, and the way he plays!

How has the Bengal people actually reacted to Ganguly's retirement? I am guessing the media there is really focussing on the last days of Ganguly.

I can actually see him becoming the coach of India one day.

Well I know how Nagpur has reacted to his retirement. A bunch of empty seats at the Stadium :p -- Probably due to the stadium being so far away from the actual city and it is a working day.

I heard you could only buy a 5 day pass to this match as well so that would certainly pushed down the numbers!

Few days ago people were burning effigies of Chappel and Pawar :D

Beleive me, Ganguly will never coach India :noway if he even get such offer he will reject it for sure ;)

WORLD CHAMPIONS added 1 Minutes and 40 Seconds later...
