HAHAHAHA !!!! trying to salvage some pride there ??

Fyi, one of the epic failures of the 2000 decade....Mr.Ajit Agarkar
scored an UNBEATEN 109 in the 2nd innings at LORDS.

1st Test: England v India at Lord's, Jul 25-29, 2002 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com

obviously mushfiqur rahim seems a better batsman than agarkar...my point is sometimes there is nothing much you can do about it.

Ponting gave credit to Bangladesh. Here is a direct quote for you.

"They've played very, very well. For them to score 355 on the first day was a terrific effort," he said at the end of the match. "They certainly have come a long way. A few of us had to put our hand up in the second innings and make sure the job was done."

That's way more sportsmanship than what Sehwag has shown, giving them no credit what so ever.

Ajit Agarkar was 25 years old at that time so he was not a schoolboy and he used to bat at no.8 for a champion Indian side under the captaincy of the best Indian captain and on the other hand, Mushfiq is just 20 I think, bats at no. 7 for an ORDINARY TEST SIDE which is led by a 22 year old captain.

Well India fans can still not enjoy victory here. :p

No wonder why every youngster wants to become a great batsman like Ponting and not a hack like Sehwag.

LMAO!! what difference does it make which team you play and who your captain is ?

when your batting at no.8...it doesnt make much of a difference...

oh and Lords is not a flat track like Chittagong and indian bowling IS ORDINARY!

ROFLMAO

Lords is not as flat as Sub Continent tracks but it is one of the most high scoring tracks in test cricket, Australia almost chased down 500 in the recent Ashes series and the game you were referring was also a very high scoring one and definitely when Agarkar was out there, conditions were favoring the batsmen and that almost helped India save the match.

Not to mention English bowling was nothing special around that time either, they used to lose all the ASHES SERIES COMPREHENSIVELY and they couldn't even win that 2002 series against India AT HOME.

And definitely a no. 8 batsman for a strong Indian side should be able to chip in with runs so it's not absolutely shocking that he got that 100. Jerome Taylor's one against NZ was even more shocking.

yes. today it was turning Square, swinging a mile, seaming like crazy with Rahim facing the best bowling line-up in the world ! :sarcasm

So what Rahim made century against India. Anyone can score against India.

And fact of life is India has won the match. It does not matter how you win it, W is all that counts.

oh yeah i forgot. dick sucking time tonight for failraj!

Oh GOD! You too, jkr? I thought you were above those senseless idiots in rediff and other indian forums who keep bringing all this 'gay' thing whenever a player supports another.

Jats the way -Sehwag is great !

Bangladesh is still ordinary. And calling anyone schoolboy-whats Rahim complaining about ?
Schoolboy isnt racist or anything. Setting an example doesnt mean that a team cannot sledge.

Mushy didn't compain. He just said that Indian players had done that and he had enjoyed that equally.

Good match. The result was always going to be an Indian victory.

Btw, VIRENDER SEHWAG STRIKES BACK-

Asked whether he felt Bangladesh could now take 20 Indian wickets, Sehwag's answer came pat: "No. They can't. They still didn't get 20 wickets."

:rtfl:rtfl:rtfl:rtfl:rtfl:rtfl

Thats what I said too. So much for speaking the truth!

Bangladesh are just trying to use as much ground as possible to bring down India's image in the media. After becoming No. 1, India are now the favorite punching bags and Bangladesh is using it. Schoolboy? The guy looks like a kiddo. Javed Miandad has sledged Sachin when he came in for his debut game against Pakistan, and Sachin never talked about it outside for very long. And you use such sledges to inspire yourself.

Why do the Indian's suddenly think they are the greatest side, because they now happen to be number "1"? Who have they beat away from home other than NZ? In order to be so arrogant, you have to sustain being the best for a while, and beat quality teams in their country, as Australia and West Indies did for so many years, and thus they earned the right to be arrogant, because they widened the gap between themselves and the rest of the nation's to such a margin, that it became a joke. India have not done that, and their comment's just sound foolish. It's also sad, because class Cricketer's such as Dravid, Tendulkar and Laxman are in the side, and because of Sehwag's arrogance, they are made to look bad, because they are playing in the same side as him. A lot of you will say that it's just his comment's and should not be reflected on to the others but he's the 'Captain' and thus his comment's do end up reflecting on to the team.

What arrogance? He has not even done 10% of what the likes of Ponting or Smith might do. Its just that Sehwag's comments are gaining more mileage in the media because anything associated with India is like haven for the media people. Thats why if Indian captains use mental disintegration tactics, they will have to pay for it more because the media will project it so badly that they will look like arrogant tools.

its due to the anger more than anything. hes been failing in the test arena for i dont know how long and is still retained in the side whereas deserving guys like Vijay and Badrinath are warming the benches. :doh

and his fielding standards have dropped heaps, hes put on lot of weight, even more arrogance and dropping a simple catch while failing with the bat against bangladesh on both the innings !
